No one can hear me

Poor quality over WebEx or IP based audio

Nice price but not good quality performance at all. Do not recommend.

Did not work with Windows 10 voice recognition

Great headset for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After reading some of the other reviews, I was somewhat hesitant to purchase this headset, but now I'm glad I did. Sound quality: I played a few different songs and a couple of videos and I have to say the sound quality is excellent. I've had much more expensive headphones that weren't as crisp and clear. Recording quality: I haven't yet used it for voice chat, but I did use the sound recorder to get an idea of quality. I have no complaints thus far. Comfort: Some people mentioned that the set is uncomfortable. It is somewhat heavy and would be incredibly uncomfortable for someone with larger ears. My ears are not that large, so the padding fits around them nicely. I also wear glasses and had no comfort issues. Durability: It seems durable. It's not flimsy, though the cord is somewhat thin. If you're looking for a nice headset that won't break your budget, this is definitely worth it. If you're a serious gamer or musician, you'll probably want to go for something a bit more sophisticated.

Bad Audio

Bad volume control

Cheap looking, good quallity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a headset and planned on buying something else until I got to the store and realized that this was a lot cheaper and had the same technical specifications. I tried it out, and it sounded great, both to me and other people hearing me talk. During noise cancellation tests, it could hear some things, but blocked out most of it. The only bad points is a short cord, which is probably only a problem for me, and how cheap it feels. It's small, which is nice, but also gives me the impression that I could easily crack it in half. That's not to say that it sounds cheap too- because it doesn't.

To troubleshoot the microphone, please make sure the headset is selected as default under recording devices under sound settings. Also, please try increasing the microphone array by selecting>Properties>Levels. Testing the headset with a different computer is also ideal to isolate the cause of the issue. If you still get the same results, then most likely there's an actual problem with the unit and it is best to replace it. If purchased as brand new, this model counts with a one-year warranty. This model is compatible with any computer that has a dual 3.5mm connection for speakers and microphone. The only steps to setup the headset after plugging it is to select it as default under Playback and recording devices on Sound settings. If your computer does not have a dual connection, then the headset is not compatible. Please note this headset is an older version and has been discontinued for several years. To isolate the cause of the issue, please test it with a different computer. In case the unit is faulty, this model counts with a one-year manufacturer's warranty if purchased as brand new. Great....for it's price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I understand that when you're not spending 50 and over for a headset, you're not gonna get the greatest product...which is why this headset still gets some decent numbers in the ratings. A few things I can't accept though is the inability to use your entire volume range without interference, aka a buzzing (happens at about 1/2 to 3/4 volume). This is because the cords are small and poorly shielded allowing for a lot of static and other waves to be picked up on the way to the headset...I'm considering attempting to rewire, but don't know if it's really worth it. Also, as expected from pretty much every headset I've ever owned, the ears get hot because there's no ventilation...that didn't affect my ratings but it's something people should be aware of...if your headset encloses your ears, and you expect some kind of sound blockage, it's gonna get hot... On the plus side, this headset is the best priced item for it's quality for both headsets and headphones on this website (when I looked for it about June 10th, 2009 or so), it runs off a mini phone jack which I like much better than the USB counterparts, and it has a volume control and mic mute/unmute on the cord making it easy if I need a quick volume change, It's made of the typical plastic, but it's slightly thicker than others of it's type, and there are almost no moving parts which is awesome for it's durability, and with an extra $5 to best buy for a warranty ( you still save at least 10 -20 dollars on this baby) it should last me a while. Also, I'd like to mention the cushion on the top of the headset...SO MANY HEADSETS DON'T HAVE THIS AND THEY SHOULD, it makes the entire unit SO much more comfy. Unfortunately, I don't know how well the mic works as my computer isn't allowing me to use my mic jack currently, something I am trying multiple fixes of (already unmuted it in the volume controls, looking for an extra driver, but that shouldn't be necessary because it's not USB) I will say that from the look of it, it seems very well designed, as it comes down at comfortable distance from the face and has a little maneuverability regarding it's distance to the mouth. Overall, I'm VERY satisfied with this product, and the only reason it doesn't score better in the overall is because you get what you pay for, and compared with other (more expensive) headsets I've had, it is average. I still encourage anyone who reads this and wants a headset that works for a decent price to purchase this.

There are a couple of things you could try to troubleshoot it. Firstly, make sure the headphone is plugged directly into the PC, avoiding any sort of hub splitter. As you know, this model requires 2 headphone jacks, for microphone and speakers. Ensure the headset is selected as default on both Playback and recording devices under Sound Control Panel. Lastly, testing the headset with a different computer is also ideal to isolate the cause of the issue. If you still get the same results, then most likely the unit has an actual problem related to hardware and it is best to replace it. This model counts with a one-year limited warranty. Dont be discouraged by bad reviiews from people who cant take care of simple things, This headset has lasted me a few years, and still going,, Sound is great, even better than those expensive type, dont be cheated by advertisement, this is a great deal at a best buy, Be one of the satisfied customers , and for god sakes put the headset issue behind you

If your headset is not responding, there are a few things you might want to try to troubleshoot it: Please unplug all cables from both headset system and computer and make sure these are reconnected in the correct ports. If you have already tried this, make sure you set the PC sound card as default for Playback and Recording under Sounds Control Panel on Windows OS, or set as Output and Input device under Sound Preferences for Mac OS. Please verify that the master and application levels in the volume mixer are not muted. Lastly, if you have the same results after following these instructions, most likely there is an actual problem with your headset and it should be replaced. Please note this unit has a one-year limited warranty from date of purchase in the US & Canada.
