Well Worth It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For only eight bucks more, this one is light years ahead of the flimsy little Insignia (which I had to swap out). All works well here....loud and clear on both ends and really quite comfy. Works beautifully with Skype. It's a bit bass-heavy with my phone, but that could be a phone issue. In all, you won't beat this for the price.

Audio clarity (speakers and microphone) is very good for real time communications and recordings. Affordably Awsome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the comfort of the headset. Dropped it like 10 times but hasn't broke! Had it for 3 months so far.The volume amplifier is very convenent when watching low volume videos on youtube. The microphone is ok for gaming. Most of the time the people think I have the mic in my mouth but really it is bended awaaaaaaaaaaay from my mouth. Still a powerful mic. Although I mostly use this for movies a and it it still good and all for gaming, I personally recommend the Logitech Desktop Microphone. It is only 20 bucks and the mic quality is awsome for me. But it isnt a headset obviously.

Amazing headset for an Amazing price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset for $20.00 on sale at Bestbuy. I also purchased the 2 year replacement warranty on it for an extra $5. This hedaset has been great and is REALLY comfortable! I've had the Logitech headset's, and a iHome one, but they all break and are really uncomfortable for me to wear. This headset is definately worth the money, and the quality is outstanding. I would reccomend this item to anybody, expspecially people on skype.

Great Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work from home. I have bought a lot of headet. A lot. I either could not hear them well or they could not hear me. This headset is perfect. PERFECT! Its made of good material. durable. The sound quality is great and the mic is great. It has a connecter that lets you connect to a 3.5 jack. If you are using it for a cordless phone then you will need the 2.5 connecter also. its not included. I had it from another headset that i had bought. I liked this headset so much I bought 3 of them.

Decent, but definitely not the best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my headset a bit ago, and it was black and red. It was unimaginably amazing at first. The sounds came through clearly and the microphone, according to my friends over voice chat, was loud and clear but not overbearing. had my headset for about 2 months now and it's working fine, but since I use a laptop on a recliner, the long cord gets caught in the footrest on occasion. The cord eventually pulled loose near the headset's top and I have to use tape (at the moment, scotch) to get it just the right way and wrapped around the headset 100 different ways to get it fixed. Then I learned that the headset's mic will send out wierd electric feedback (nicknamed alien messages by my friends) when the box with the mic and volume controls go near it. Summary of cons: The headset cord is delicate. Alien Messages Sound can't be muted via headset Microphone can still pick up loud noises when it's 'off'. Not fit in a way comfortable on ears after extended use. Summary of pros: Sound quality Mic quality Long cord Volume/Mic control Cheap Go for the Creative Labs Fatal1ty headset if you're shoping for a headset. I've gotten recommendations that it's the best out there.

Good sound, but at the price of durability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, the great thing about these headphone, I think, is that you do get very good sound from them. The biggest downfall is the length of the cord that plugs into your computer. A tad too much. Very easy to snag on something. I am writing this review as this is the second time I have snagged the headphones on something, causing the sound to be lost on the one side. I have found a fix, wrapping the extra cord over the top of the headphones. If you are careful with them, they are great. Very prone to breaking. Good news, Plantronics' customer service was great the first time to replace them. Lets see about the second time.

Great for calls!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this item for a job as an at home customer service rep. OMG, do I have noise surrounding me!! My husband has a pit bull that will not stop barking in the front yard, dump trucks are constantly moving to and fro in my back yard, busy highway, and children playing. The noise cancelling mic does what it says unlike the Logitech 150 that I had at first. The cushions are soft and my little ears fit inside the muffs just fine. Looking at the complaints, I'm assuming that they weren't made for everyone (football heads) and the sound level may not be for the already near deaf people. The sound level is like any other headphone set which is fine with me. I love the controls!! I love them!!

Great Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Plantronics .Audio 355 Stereo Headset that I purchased from BestBuy. The sound quality coming through is better than any headset I have purchased in the past. I made the decision to purchase this headset because several of my co-workers have this one and really love it.

Really the best buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset at the local best buy and was extremely surprised by the sound quality when i plugged these babies in! The sound these put out rivals the sound of much more expensive headphones. I can not emphasize how good it is. The bass shakes your ears, the mids are strong, and the highs crisp. They can go louder than you will ever want, as well. Short of spending $150 for some Audio Technica ATH-M50's, I wont buy anything else. The build of these is decent, the plastic is strong yet flexible. The cable seems a little flimsy, but seems to be holding up fine. I'd say that is potentially the weakest part of this set. I can't comment for the microphone, as I use the high quality one built into my cam. The comfort is average. After a couple hours my ears get sore from these. Also if i look at my desk with them on, they tend to slip forward. However, they do not pinch or catch hair. If you are looking for a headset, and don't want to shell out tons of money, buy these. It will be the best $20 you've ever spent.

Good to use BUT like many others, not durable.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this set to replace a much more expensive Logitech set which lost its microphone after a couple of months...because I had snagged the flimsy, long wire on that otherwise perfect set. The Plantronics set has worked perfectly...with great sound and a powerful microphone (keep it high, well away from your mouth). 9 months on, the lead mounted, rotary volume switch which I have hardly, if ever used, has developed an intermittant fault. I now get sound sometimes in both ears, sometimes in one ear, sometimes not at all. Squeezing the switch case seems to help...sometimes...so I guess it's either a switch failure, or more likely a wiring connection problem, despite me being extremely careful not to snag the wire. Overall, I've been satisfied with this set from the performance point of view, so I'm intending to buy the same set again. They all appear to have the same flimsy wiring which breaks too easily, so why pay more. Nothing at this price lasts for long...but for $30 I'll buy the same set...it's not worth the cost of posting any set back to the manufacturer for a possible (?) repair.

Great headset!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously I had another Plantronics headset mic and it was still going strong until a family member ran over the cord with the vaccum... I loved it so much I stuck with Plantronics. This set is turning out to be just as great. My ears tend to hurt after wearing headsets for a while, but these are very well padded and so far I have had no problems with hurting ears! Sound is great too! :)

Adequate for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset has a good quality sound, but they are not as sturdy as wanted. If they get used every day they tend to wear out quickly. I have had other lower cost headsets that took more use, better. The sound was great, the durability was not.

Not great, not bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I needed a new set of headphones for playing mmorpgs since my busted set of cheapo noise cancelling headphones bit the dust finally. They were an ok brand (Phillips) that I think I got for like $20. figuring I would need to spend a bit to get a HP/Mic combo that didn't look/feel/perform like it was made in a third world country for pennies on the dollar I jumped on this set that was on sale from like $32 or so to $19.99. Performance: This set actually has performed exceptionally well! More than I would expect a set twice its price to perform. I can set the volume to uncomfortable levels and still not receive any feedback or interference. The mic is kind of hard to review for most normal ppl but at least for me my buddies on ventrilo have reported that the sound is good and not too high/low and does not have any weird feedback problems that I have had in the past with cheaper sets. Comfort: I wouldn't say terrible, but this headset is prolly better suited to people with really small ears. Either that or I just have gotten spoiled by headphones that actually cover the whole ear. Don't get me wrong, this does not interfere with the sound, but people with even normal sized ears will not be able to have these cover them. The padding is ok, but after extended hours of gaming or jamming out they get a bit uncomfortable. Overall: Sales aside, if these were placed head to head with the next step up that is only a little more I would go with the bigger ones, but with the sale price of almost half off this is absolutely one of the best performance to price HP/MIC sets you can get.
