I was looking to replace an old wired beats that finally crapped out after 3 years. This is my first set of wireless headphones so I took alot of time researching. I found these and decided that they checked many of the boxes of what I was looking for. I am completely happy and this is why. They fit great. Very light weight and aside from the music I could literally forget they are there. They fit snug. No bouncing around or adjustments needed at all. They stay in place. I only have to charge them about once every 4 or 5 workouts. So about once a week. My workouts last about 60-90 mins. Battery life is good enough for me. The sound quality us good enough for me. The range is good. These are not $150 headphones so dont expect them to sound as such. The are 80 bucks. And for the price these do not disappoint. I think they are a great buy so long as they last which is yet to be determined... But so far so good.

I have kind of sensitive ears. I can't get them plugged with ear buds that would mute the surrounding. Unlike other ear devices, the BackBeat Fit 2100 allows you to listen to music, receive and make calls while still able to hear what is going around you. You can easily forget that they are on (if not for the a little bit stiff rubber)... They do have a very surprisingly good Bluetooth range. They do go long distance from my phone before start having noise interference. The first time used, the battery took for ever to charged (actually the indicator never turned off) and then it lasted like 5 hours only. For the second charge, the indicator turned off and I am using them now for almost 9 hours (on and off streaming) with battery level still good. They are very light weight with good grip. Sound quality is what I think is perfect (some others might have musical ears). Microphone is working very good for BT calls. Available functions are good. It does connect to several devices at the same time and then you can switch between them using the app. Well, that's the theory and it sounds terrific. They only problem is: I couldn't make it work on Android nor iOS.. Still not bothering me. I'll try to figure it out later. Works well on my chromebook laptop. Streaming and recording. Works better on Android than iOS (showing more options there). The only down side I can see is the charging port: You would expect a type C connector but that's fine.

Hello Jeff and thank you for your review on our Backbeat FIT 2100 headset, however, we are sorry to hear about your experience. This headset counts with a range of up to 10 meters/33 feet. If you are experiencing some connectivity issues, you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset. With the headset powered off, click and hold down the right earbud until you hear "pairing". 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_BBFIT 2100". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful". You may also want to reset the headset through the "Backbeat" mobile app and check if it doesn't have any updates available. Last but not least we recommend testing the headset with a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Remember this unit counts with a limited warranty since the first day of purchase, and if you need a replacement you can click on the following link for further instructions: https://bit.ly/2N637EC. Please note the life span of the product depends on the usage but on many cases they last for way past their warranty period. Had a Plantronics Backbeat Fit for 4 years! Loved it and used it every day. Crystal clear phone calls and good sound quality. Then my dog ate it... not kidding! Reviews for these headsets are all over the place and since I loved my Backbeat Fit so much, I decided to upgrade to the 2100 model. I love the style. I love that there are no teeny tiny buttons to press. I do wish the left (volume/forward/back) side had some tactile feel like the right (power/pause/play) side. Sound is good, though I feel like the sound on my old one was better. Headset is comfortable to wear (once your ears get used to them) and discreet. They stay put when working out but the volume seems to max out at a lower level than my older model and can be an issue in a noisy environment. Overall, I like them.

I love headsets, especially if they are wireless. I don’t like to use earbuds when I excericse because of fear they will fall out. So, over the ear headsets are what I’m interested in. So, I was initially excited with the Backbeat Fit 2000’s. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with them. Pro: -wireless. Keeps me hands free and don’t have to worry about any cord getting snagged while wearing them. -battery life. They last me about 9 hours in use. I’ve had them for a few days and so far I’ve not yet needed to charge them. -snug around my neck. The cord that connects both sides is short, no adjusting and it rests on my neck really well. Cons -the size of the ear piece is too large. They don’t have adjustable sizes which is a pain. I have small ear openings and these don’t fit well in them. I hate it because I’m not getting the most sound out of them. Why couldn’t they provide smaller pieces? -sound quality. So, as I hold them in with my hands the sound quality is not that good. Hardly any good bass sounds. -the micro usb connector is small: I had a hard time trying to plug in the usb cord to charge. Design flaw? Overall, I’m really disappointed with this item. I can’t use them at all because it’s very limiting in use.
