Great Quality Design, Minor Drawbacks
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have ever used a Plantronics earpiece, with the loop ear cup, this is the same feel. For me, I don't usually find these looped ear cups to be comfortable, but these are softer that the ones I have used in the past. Not as comfortable as some ear cups, but my son thinks they are great. Sound is absolutely great. Very full and no distortion. The mic is fantastic, as you would expect from Plantronics. The neck strap/cord that connects the two ear pieces is a braided cord. I was concerned this would be heavy or uncomfortable, the cord was barely noticeable. Now to why I dropped a star. Battery life. It is shorter than any wireless earbuds I have ever used. They claim up to 5 hours of battery. I ran it down in 4 multiple times. Others I have use have much longer battery life, but at a higher cost. I would definitely recommend these, with the warning about the battery life and if you like Plantronics ear cups.

Good sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good sounding pair of headphones. It has three earbud options. The earbuds also have the external ear pieces so that they don’t fall out while doing whatever it is you are doing. I also like the fact that the wire connecting the ear pieces is surrounded by a fiber instead of plastic. I sweat a lot and the cords have a tendency to stick to my neck and can pull out of my ear if I move my head just right.

great sound quality in sporty buds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wireless ear buds are becoming more popular and more prevalent, I suspect due to the airpod effect. However, if you're an active type, then Apple's little white buds aren't quite so "magical" as they continuously fall out of your ear as you're running or doing jerks. Tbh, I was pretty skeptical at first, but to cut to the chase, I was very pleasantly surprised not by the functionality and thoughtfulness of the design, but also by the clean sound quality of the buds. The funny loops, when you select the proper sized adapter for your ears, actually do a proper job of "hooking" into your outer ear (antihelix, if you want to be anatomically specific), and once set in, became unnoticeable during activity. The buds themselves provided surprisingly balanced sound without any obtrusive bass amplification (cough *beats* cough). Vocals came through and didn't sound tinny, and the sound isolation worked as advertised. Now, do these sound as good as my Grados? No, if you want pure audiophilic sound quality, you'll need to invest in a proper set of cans, because due to acoustics, buds so far can't match the sound quality of the larger drivers you can get in over-the-ear cans. That being said, these are marketed and aimed at more active types, and for that niche, I daresay the sound quality is more than sufficient when you're going for a run. The only downside I can see is, if you tend to go running in the city and zone out, these could be bad because of the effectiveness of the sound isolation.

Hard to sync, but works great now
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I unpacked the headphones and they looked great. They look similar to the Bose unit I have. Set up should have been simple. Charge the unit, press the sync button and sync it with my Pixel. I tried a number of times and the Pixel just didn't see it. Finally I laid the phone and the headphone side by side and it saw it. As soon as I move it, it disconnected. Luckily, once the phone had seen it, I was able to sync it like any other Bluetooth accessory. Once they were sync'd, all was good. They work well, sound good and I was happy. I kept looking to see which one was the right and left ear piece when after a few times I saw it. The unit is medium blue, but the cord to the right is is light blue. What a great idea. No longer to I have to grab a pair of glasses to see that little R or L, I just remember the short light blue cord goes in the right ear...genius! These will make a great addition to my collection of earphones (buds) for going to the gym and listening to audiobooks.

Great Sound - Great Fit - Comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was expecting ear hoops to fit behind the ear, so the design was pleasantly surprising. The soft loops at the end of the ear piece hold the earbud in place nicely. It is a very snug, yet comfortable feel. The sound is very good for such a small earbud. It is on par with with other higher end earbuds with a nice clear sound. It handles higher volume as well as any others that I own. The bass is about right and the high end is very pleasant as well. All in all, it's a great sounding product. The wire connecting the two earbuds is braided and doesn't feel cold and plastic compared to other brands. The quality is good. It was easy to pair and works well with my new iPhone X. The voice quality was also very good when talking on the phone. The other end stated that it sounded like I had the phone up to my face. The controls are robust and one can control volume, pause-play, forward and previous track. The volume buttons serve multiple purposes and the advance/rewind require that the button be pressed for two seconds. Siri works as expected and the middle button will also redial if held for a couple of seconds. I will make good use of this earbud headset. I like everything about it.

In order to pair the headset back to your phone you will need too place the headset in pairing mode starting with the unit powered off and then pressing and holding the power button for at least 7 seconds until its LED alternates red/blue. Afterwards, your phone should be able to find your headset and allow you to pair it.

Ok Sound, Uncomfortable after a few hours
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ah, the never ending saga of finding the best in-ear bluetooth headphones adds another chapter. The blackbeat FIT 305 is another in a line of bluetooth fitness headphones. It is sweat proof with a cloth-like cable design which is snag proof and doesn't bounce around once wearing the earphones. There are certainly things it does well. But like many of it's brethren, it's felled by the twin pillars of just barely ok sound reproduction and not being comfortable to wear longer than a few hours. The blackbeat FIT 305 does some things right on the design front. The cord is not too long and is a cloth like texture that's snag proof and doesn't shift once in place. This is great for active workouts, though the cable material will transmit sound/noise from anything that brushes against it. So, its tendency to stay put, even when running/jogging is even more important and impressive. Rather than making the earbuds oversize and heavy to carry the battery, it appears that's all concentrated in the controls, just below the right earbud. This however makes things a bit unbalanced and I always felt a strong twist of my neck would yank one of the buds out. I think it would have been better to split things into two pods. One with controls within easy reach, like the normal position on the right ear bud and a second which holds another battery (and perhaps noise cancelling microphones) to provide balance on the left. Phone calls went through ok with people on the other end having no problems hearing me or vice versa. Music was a slightly different matter. It was immediately obvious that these headphones leaned towards tinny sound. Virtually no base and mostly emphasizing voice. Perhaps if people tended to listen to audiobooks while exercising or jogging, this would make sense but the primary use of these is music. So, minus one star. Still, I powered through, and was able to determine that these headphones have excellent bluetooth range. However, after a couple hours, my ears started hurting. When I first put the earphones in, it felt comfortable and the "ears" fit well in my ear canal. While the cable length and mismatch weight made it feel like I'd accidentally pull out one side, it otherwise felt fine. I was almost willing to overlook the music issue. But after a couple hours, I was suddenly quite uncomfortable and no amount of adjustment or moving things around would cure it. In the end, I had to accept it - this was just not the bluetooth headphone for me. Minus another star.

A good Bluetooth headset.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue operated similar to most Bluetooth headsets. The plus symbol can increase the volume and the minus symbol can decrease the volume. The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue allows me to use my voice to command my phone to make calls without dialing the keypad. I can also redial a phone number by double pressing on the on/off button. The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue has a voice assistant that tells me what the power of the battery is and tells me if my pairing with devices is successful. Pairing with my device was as easy as just turning on the Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue and then tapping on its name when I saw it under my devices Bluetooth settings. The volume is loud enough to satisfy any music listener. The range of the Bluetooth is ten meters which is more than enough distance to transmit music or audio. I have no complaints about the Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones.

Good for working out
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Immediately right out of the box the first thought out of your mouth is, boy these things feel light, however that couldn't be farther from the truth. For what they lack and weight they make up for in sound ability and durability. Great headphones

Lightweight, Good Sounding Ear buds for athletes
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a previous version of these and the 305 was a nice improvement overall. They look better and are lighter weight. They provide a good solid sound at a reasonable price. Battery life is pretty average. They come with multiple size ear pieces to make finding a fit a breeze for most consumers.

Great sound, pleasantly surprised!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't expecting a whole lot from these bluetooth headphones, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The sound is very good with deep rich base and highs that don't sound tinny or sharp on the ears. The ear tips are a little different with a wing that helps stabilize the earbuds and keep them in place. I was a little skeptical of those wings at first, but I've come to love them. The ear tips work really well and seem to block more outside noise than other ear tips I've used. 2 minor gripes: the cord seems to be a little stiff and the control module feels a little big and a little heavy. Overall I am very pleased with these bluetooth earbuds.

The functionality just works and they are built with great care. The wiring and sync, really everything was great.
