The initial fit felt fine. After using it for a few two mile runs, it caused discomfort and soreness in my ears. I tried to return the headphones but was informed that I was past the policy deadline for returns. After being told I couldn't return it, I asked about an exchange for another set of headphones or a store credit. Again, I was told that I was past the date in which anything could be done according to policy and that I was stuck with it. It's not nice to be stuck with an item that just sits in its original casing because it causes pain in your ears.

I needed a set of headphones for crossfit, jogging, and weight lifting. Based on the reviews I purchased these. While these are a great set of bluetooth headphones, they aren't without their limitations. The Good: The battery holds a good charge, and takes only 2 hours to charge. I'll typically get 6+ hours at full volume. It's linked to my iPod so I don't make or answer calls with it, which I hear has a significant affect on battery life. They're durable. I'm not afraid to bunch them up in my pocket, run them under the faucet to clean them up, and I've found them in the dog crate a few times. They look and perform like new. The fit is good. Not great, but good enough. I can jog, do burpees, box jumps...I've tried to get these to fall off under workout conditions and can't. I've got a giant head and the band is barely big enough to fit around it. Which brings me to the not so good... If you plan on any weightlifting, forget about it. Every time the band touches the bench, it knocks an earbud out. The earbuds do not fit snugly in my ear whatsoever and it affects sound quality and loudness. The only thing really holding them in is the fact they wrap around your ear. I use my corded headphones when weightlifting for this reason. They are not loud enough. I use CD quality MP3s and for gym workouts, they let way too much ambient noise in. Great for when you're outside and need to hear what's going on around you. If I want to go back a track, sometimes I have to restart the headphones to regain access to that feature. Price? I guess that's subjective. For $129 I want a solid all-around performer. I wouldn't consider these "gym use" because they're not loud enough and the rigidity of the band will pop an earbud out when you rest your head on the bench. Overall, if you need a headset and don't do a whole lot of weightlifting, then I'd make the purchase. Aside from the issues I have with it in the gym, I actually like them, but will unfortunately be returning them to find a better suited setup.

Item was purchased as a gift for my granddaughter. She works out daily and runs. The headphones make the exercise combination more relaxing. Was a great choice !

i bought these to wear when I mow but I can't really hear them at all over the mower.

I bought this earphone for riding bikes after researching for a proper set. I like the fact that it lets in some road noise so I am aware of cars and surrounding events when I go biking. Highly recommended.

nothing special. battery drained faster than anticipated. didnt fit my ear well enough for me to be satisfied. returned it.

Sound degraded slightly after a few months. From what I understand that is due to sweat while working out.

I reluctantly purchased these headphones since best buy stopped carrying the moterola wireless headphones. These were the only pair I could find that didn't sit on the back of my neck. They wouldn't pair with my phone. I have no idea what they sound like because I couldn't get them to work at all. They've been sitting in my car waiting for me to return them but I keep forgetting..

Does not work in the pool from wireless device. Loses signal when swimming. Overall design and comfort are good.

The bud part was too big for my ears and hurt, also wouldn't go in far enough for me to hear the music well.

Did not like the fit or feel of these wireless headphones. Returned them and bought Extra Bass by Sony

I had another 'locking' type headphone before this, and the fit was awful, battery life so-so, looks not great, etc. BUT these ARE amazing! Good bass sound so your wallet doesn't have to take a BEATing to get that great sound, battery life is awesome, light weight and very comfortable, easy controls and functionality - TOTALLY recommend these!

I was a gift for my husband. He didnt care for it much. It keep coming out his ear.

The battery stopped charging after 3 months of use. After searching online, it appears that this is a common problem. Working on replacing with warranty, will update review if company comes through.

After researching and reading online reviews, I decided to try these out. Great for workouts & easy to sync with your phone.

I had a previous version of a Plantronics headset and I liked them other than the fact that when I got sweaty at the gym, they started to malfunction. With the announcement of the Backbeat Fit, I thought this had all been taken care of. I ordered them "ship to store" since the store had not started stocking them yet. I picked them up a few days later and plugged them in overnight to charge. When I connected them to my iPhone, I received a message stating there is an app that makes the headset perform better so I downloaded it. When the app connected to the device, it prompted for a software update which I agreed to. After the update occurred, the headset would not turn on. I called Plantronics and they stated I would need to take them back to the store since the headset had been rendered useless. When I took the headset back, they still didn't have any in stock so I just returned them. I purchased the headset for $99 plus tax and now Best Buy is selling them for $129. Double whammy and a complete let down.

Have blue pair just like it - worked so well bought one for work and kept the other for the gym.

They didn't fit right and felt cheap for the price. Returned them.

had a little difficulty getting them synch with my phone, but that was phone issues. great fit, very happy

When I first bought the he headphones they worked great! After a month or so they wouldn't keep a charge. So I took them back for a full refund.
