Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the impressive sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life of the BackBeat FIT Wireless Behind-the-Neck Headphones. Many appreciate the wireless convenience and water resistance, finding them lightweight and easy to wear for extended periods. However, some users mention that the volume could be higher and that the bass response might not satisfy those seeking deep, powerful low-end frequencies. A few also comment on the price point.

Great Sound, Ear buds to big and hard

The sound is amazing and hook up to my IPod Nano was easy. The buttons are well placed and easy to push. I tried them around the house while cleaning, and cooking for 2 weeks. They stayed put, never felt "loose" while I was bending over or if I chased my kids around the house. However I returned them because the ear buds are made of a hard plastic. It hurt my ears. It would be nice if they were soft like the Bose ear buds, or at least give me the option to purchase soft tips. I really wished they would have worked out because I am tired of running with a cord with the Bose sport ear buds. The arm band it comes with is great! I did wear that while doing daily house chores, that never budge and is really comfortable, thankfully I can buy that as a separate piece.

Works great on my iPhone. Great for the active user on the go. Ability to use Siri and answer the phone is a big plus. Lightweight and easy to use.

These headphones are worth the money. I can go running and the headphones stay in place and I don't have to worry about the ripping out the wire headphones from my ear.

These work way better than the Beats wireless I tried, but the earpieces are way too big and left my ears hurting for a week.

    Don't do it

The battery dies and cannot be replaced. If it's out of warranty, they won't replace the unit, but you can BUY a refurbished unit from them. I used my headphones a total of 5 times before the battery wouldn't charge anymore. Had them plugged in for 2 days and *nothing*. Do yourself a favor and buy headphones with a replaceable battery or at least buy from a company with a better warranty policy. This is a KNOWN issue and should seriously have been recalled. Instead, Plantronics wants me to pay a total of $200 (original price plus cost of refurbished unit) for something that may or may not hold a charge. No thanks.

    Painful after 15 minutes

I really wanted to like these headphones and there is actually a lot to like. The sound quality is OK, battery life seems fine, buttons work well. However, I'm going to have to return them because they are simply painful to wear for more than 15 minutes!

    Not good

This might be the worst sounding headphones I have ever worn. No bass, muddy mids. Battery life is okay. Best Buy will not return them unless there is a real defect. Plantronics should offer an exchange through their site as these are TERRIBLE, especially considering at a price of 130 bucks. Let's see if this review makes it to the site.

This is a great earphone for biking. It let in some outside noise, so it is safer than those with sound isolation features.

Two pair broke within 6 months of purchase accused my son of being careless until mine developed an identical crack within weeks of his. Both on the hard thin plastic earpiece location. Now looking for something that I expect to be disposable

That may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so,

      1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
      2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
      3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. and test.

If the issue is the same we can replace that device. You can use the following url to view our replacement steps.
