These fit very poorly and the sound is bad. Functions and parts are bad. Worse wireless headphones I've ever purchased.

I've been hunting for workout headphones for ages. Returned Beats Powerbeats, returned Bose, returned a few other popular models. I knew nothing about these but saw them on the rack and they looked cool. They are amazing. Sound fine for non isolating headphones. Plenty loud. Stylish unlike some others that are huge around the ear. Water resistant. Long battery life. Excellent as a headset for calls. Honestly I have no complaints. Everyone is moving to sound isolation tips but it's not really ideal for a workout headphones. These let you hear the outside world and your music. I would buy again in a heart beat. Like them so much I went back to get an extended warranty.

Worst purchase ever, by far. Nowhere near my Jaybird X2's .....dont waste your time

Caused severe ringing in my ears. This was very evident after use.

I loaded me it but I was hoping to be a little better.

I have tried the Jaybird X3, the Jabra Sport and these.. all have been returned for different reasons. The Plantronics are the best of the lot and are a near miss. The Bluetooth works well. You don't get issues when running on the road or in the gym when you leave your phone in your locker and work out. The headphones are very secure on your head. The sound is fine. They are very sweat proof and water proof. Also, they are very well constructed. The issues are 2 fold. 1. The volume when using Spotify stinks. There is essentially no volume and frankly this is a deal breaker. I don't need to be deaf, but some volume is nice. They are fine when using iTunes but at $130.00 they should be pretty perfect. 2. The band in the back is too heavy and causes issues when running. The band jostles the ear pieces and is frankly annoying. Unless you have a huge melon of a head, the band is deal breaker number 2. I want to like these headphones because the idea is great, but the product is a near miss, and the closest near miss for runners on the market. They need to fix the volume issue and the sizing issue. Once this is improved, you have a winner.

Absolutely love these headphones. I have tried numerous headsets while working out at the gym and outdoors. I have the Backbeat Go 2 and the Jaybird X2 which also reviewed very well but the Backbeat Go 2 didn't really stay put in my ear as well as the Jaybirds. Although the jaybirds were winning the battle with me they were a little annoying because they flopped around a bit. The Backbeat Fit addresses all of these issues for me along with great sound, ease of use, pairing, connectivity and distance. When I am cooling down after my workout I am able to walk a pretty good distance from the phone with no static or connection issues. Having the controls on the earpiece as opposed to the wires makes all the difference. The clip on feature makes all the difference in keeping the buds in my ears and the location of the controls doesn't weigh down the wires or cause movement or flopping when I'm running or jumping or lying down on the bench press. Once I put them on and start my workout, I don't even realize I have them on except for the music or sound in my ears. I really cannot even tell that they're there! These are the best I've tried so far and I've tried a few from Beats to Jaybirds to Jabra and Sony to on the ear and over the ear. I just hope they last a while. Plantronics hit it out the park on this one!

I was really apprehensive about buying another Plantronics headset however after looking at a few other models I decided to give them another try. The range is really good and does not drop out much even when i am quite far away from my phone. Sound quality is pretty good, they can get very loud. Overall they stay in place, which is a huge plus given the design. The mic quality according to everyone i have talked to is great.

I love these earbuds/earphones! I love all their features and how they operate. They include an easy to understand how to manual which is always great. The sound quality was good. I tried them at the gym and at the pool, and had no problem with background noise distracting me. The features worked seamlessly and I had no issues with the product features or specs. The ONLY thing that did not work for me is that they were too large for my ears. After about 20-30 minutes of wearing them I would get ear aches. Stupid small ears!!! Since they didn't have the option for interchangeable sizes on the bud part, I had to return them for ones that had the smaller option. Overall I wished I could keep these but no matter how much I loved them and the features, the irritation of my ears made them a no go! I am giving them 4 stars however, because it was not an issue with the performance of the product. It was more that the product didn't fit me. They would be great for someone with larger ears!

I purchased 2 pairs of this style headphone, and while they sound great, the build quality is just OK. Both pairs that i purchased fell apart within 3 months and Plantronics Customer Service did not handle this matter in a professional fashion, nor resolve the issue.

My wife got these for me (she was supposed to get the Bose sound sport) but these had good reviews so I tried them out, they sound great, stay on my head nice and tight, went to shut them off and the plastic shell that covered the power button just popped off, power button gone...

Plantronics BackBeat Fit's are engineering excellence! The fit is easy and no hassle from the point of placing them on my head through my workout or run to the point that I take them off. The sound is amazing as well, and I hear crystal clear the bass, mid range and treble. I was concerned that the sound would not be as good as a noise-cancelling headphone where the bud goes into the ear canal, but that was not the case at all with the BackBeat Fit. I also like the control buttons on the side of each ear which are easier to use that trying to find the controls on a cord. The voice announcement of the number of hours left on my charge is a real nice addition. I won't mention the competitors I have tried, but they are at the top on reviews yet do not compare to the BackBeat Fit. The competitors required a lot of time on my part trying to find the best ear bud size and best wing size, and the sound was only good when there was a perfect seal between the bud in my ear canal. This required constant repositioning through my run or workout which was really annoying and distracting. There was also a longer cord that resulted in pulling on one side or another when I turned my head, which of course would disrupt the seal and the sound. Lastly I like the comfort of not having a bud jammed in my ear canal, and I like feeling more aware of my surroundings at the gym rather than the feeling of being underwater or in a tunnel that the noise-cancelling headphones create. Again, I want to emphasize that this design difference did not reduce the audio quality at all. In my opinion, if you are looking for an excellent wireless sport headphone that is hassle-free, user friendly, has excellent sound, and is comfortable, this is where your search ends. By the way, it looks great too!

The fit, the battery life, the sound, etc was wonderful while it lasted. Sadly just after the one year warranty has expired the left side has gone out. I have known for a while that the inner ring that holds the mesh covering the speaker is VERY prone to RUST. I have read reviews now that have had the same issue as despite what is dismissed as ear wax, it is rust and now resulted in failure of the left side. To be fair I have not approached the company or Best Buy as they one year warranty has expired now by a month (they actually failed two weeks ago). I have also seen the comments that this cannot happen as it is stainless. To confirm it appears the mesh is as it does not rust or discolor (which would also be the most logical place for wax to build-up). So if the ring is stainless it is a very low quality stainless and maybe should be made out of the same grade as the mesh. Just feedback from a runner who felt that he had found a durable pair of headphones. So if you do not perspire then these may last longer for you.

Bought these one year and 2 months ago. LOVED them and used them about 3 times a week good sound, comfortable to wear-kept then in safe, dry location, well protected (since there is no case, you need to keep them protected in your own way (not thrown in a drawer for example), then suddenly one day they stop working. Call Customer service, told "too bad" you are out of your warranty, (she really was rather nasty about it in fact) seriously when I pay 140+ bucks for a product it should NOT fail in a year (BTW if I had bought the same headphone from ATT-not best buy or plantronics themselves, ATT and would have replaced at no charge). So anyway call another tech at Plantronics and he says they have been having "some problems" but sorry he couldn't do anything either. I would have happily ordered another set if they had even offered me a small credit, but to say "tough luck" for a pretty pricey product is really bad PR and customer service. I have 8 plantronics products in my home, we will be moving away and looking for a more consumer friendly product in the future.

After 6 - 8 months of use the headphones controls became intermittent and eventually failed;TWICE. The customer service was good the first time but the replacement pair did not fall under warranty even though those were less than a year old. I spent 130 for headphones that did not last even a year each time. Performance wise they are good. Loved the sound and fit.

Definitely 2 stars. Hurt my ears due to its hard plastic plugs. It sounds fairly good but at the maximum volume it's still low. In noisy places you will not hear properly the music from the earbuds

I absolutely love these headphones until they break. They fit amazing. Every time you turn them on they give you how much battery life is left and alert you when it is "low battery". The only problem is that within 4 months of buying my first pair they quit working. No problem they are under warranty. The replacement pair lasted 8 months before one ear quit working. (Warranty no longer valid, it is from original purchase date) I use these for running and working out. Average time a week is 3 hours. If you get them, be sure to get EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN so you get your monies worth!!

I priced matched it with amazon came out at 74$ the reason why i bought it.. but is ok it has bass and the voice is deep i only use it for the gym.. so is cool

These headphones do one thing and one thing only stay on your ears which is what i wanted them to do, however what a cost to get that everything else is terrible! The buds are designed to not be totally in your ear so you can still hear with them on good concept but the volume is so low unless you are in a quiet surrounding you cant hear anything unless you manually push/hold them in your ear. People cant hear or understand you if you are in a windy place or theres noise around you The Battery life is decent just extremely poor sound quality LG Tones still set the bar i just hate their design.
