We have tried distancing ourselves from the Nano, played with the fit in the ear etc. We are hoping that it has something to do with the fit in the ear, and we will be going back to the store to get help. We like the Bluetooth capability, but if it sacrifices quality for the static, it's not worth it especially for the price. The earplugs that came with the Nano are much higher quality.
