    False advertising

If you think Jaybirds have good sound then disregard my review. I had the Motorola Flex S-11s and the sound was great! Nearly as good as Beats sweat proof ones. I had them for a year and a half when they just died on me. I went in to exchange and they were no longer available. So...I exchanged them for the Plantronics, which I usually really like, but the sound quality was not as advertised. The box stated there was rich bass. The bass was non-existent. It's a stretch to say there were mids. I've been reading through other reviews and Im shocked at all the ones that say the sound quality is good.

The sound is good even without the bass I'm used too. I did read that there might be an adjustment I can make using the owners manual. The fit is a little strange but took two seconds to get used to once I started my run. I didn't have any issues at all with them falling out or being uncomfortable. Easy set up and operation. My husband and I take turns with them now. It goes from one device to the other seamlessly with requested. I have had them for 4 weeks now. I plan to buy another pair for my husband when budget allows. It's nice that these are available at a price that most of us can stretch for and still get quality.

great @ home - lousy @ the gym

After some research I narrowed my hunt for bluetooth earbuds down to the jaybird bluebuds x and these ones from plantronics. Price won out and so the backbeat go 2 came home with me. At first, I thought they were stellar. When used around the house it was everything I could have hoped for and more. After pairing to my iPad I was able to leave it in my bedroom and walk around other parts of the house still listening to the show I had on with no sound interruptions at all. Sound quality was also excellent. Unfortunately, once I took them to the gym - the main reason I bought them - it was the end of the line for these earbuds. They did not like to stay in at all, and yes I tried all the different size pads. They would fall out pretty frequently, many times simply because I turned my head & the wire snagged on the back of my neck. This became way too much of a nuisance and so I had to bring them back. Overall, 5 stars if you're using them in the house, car etc. but if you plan to exercise with them you'll be sorely disappointed.

I bought these headphones because I had just gotten a Galaxy 2 watch and wanted to use stay totally wireless between my phone and watch. I purchased these because they had a great price and good reviews. The sound quality itself was fine. Nothing special really. The earbuds were very bulky and uncomfortable. I really wanted to like these headphones but they didn't fit well regardless of how I adjusted them. They are also so bulky and it is very obvious that you are wearing them. I had charged them overnight and only got about 1 and a half hours of listening time before I had to charge them again. I gave them 2 stars because I liked the charging carry case and the controls worked really well. I did take them back for a refund. Back to the drawing board...

These headphones are fantastic!!! The sound is great and they are lightweight. I use them to play racquetball in and lift weights. I have no complaints. The volume is great as long as you have a tight seal. I went to use the blender and I could not even hear it with my music playing. The charge bag is not worth the extra money to me.

I just picked these up today, was a little hesitant to buy wireless headphones because I doubted the fit of them. I have never had a pair that fits as snug as these, doing HIIT runs or normal running in these would not be a problem. Sound quality is good enough for what I want and the battery life is very nice. For the $100 price I think this is a great buy, especially if you will use these for working out. The only thing that I would like changed is the rubber cable connecting the two ear pieces. It is a little sticky (as of now) and rubs on my neck giving a slight pulling feel as I turn my head. I know this is nitpicking but its all I can think of.

Love this product. Only thing is my ears are small so with even the smallest tips on still a little uncomfortable after about 2 hours, other then that great. Great battery life I used up to 4 hrs no problem! Great range , but usually my device is in my pocket so not really an issue anyways.

short battery but long enough for use

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

the when the battery gets low a gal chimes in and says low battery, stays in the ears. The battery is only about 4- 5 hours, that is plenty long because there is no time when you are going to need to listen longer than that in a time period. THEY ARE so easy to carry with you. Never deal with a cord in the way anymore!!!!

    Poor Build Quality

I've had three sets of the headphones. The first actually lasted about a 6 months before one of the shorted out and just stopped working. I then purchased another set which was defective straight from the manufacturer themselves. I returned that set only to get a replacement that once again shorted out and stopped working. Such a shame considering the sound quality is decent and they are a simple design. Still I would NOT recommend. Most in-ear headphone don't last long anyway regardless of price. Will be staying away from Plantronics and in ear designs from now on.

I bought these for listening to programming on my tablet at my desk and for light workouts; treadmill, bike, some weights. I didn't have issue with sound but I did have issue with the fit. I used the smallest "thingy" hoping they would fit in my ear, but if i shook my head they would fall out. The big ones were way to big to fit in my ear. it was more pronounced if I wore them as recommended, with the cord on the back of my neck. I really was cramming them in hoping to get a fit but they had to go back, might just check out non wireless ones instead.

Headphones are great, charging case not so much

Purchased these for my daily workouts to replace a pair of corded in-ear headphones that kept falling out and the cord tended to be a nuisance. The headphones are great, fit well in my ear, and have good sound quality. The charging case on the other hand has been a complete bust. Worked well the first couple times but now takes multiple times plugging in to get the two to pair up and start charging. In hindsight I would have sprung for just the headphones and not spent the extra money on a gimmick that doesn't work.

Bought these hoping they would fit the bill for a decent set of Bluetooth earphones. I was pleased by how well they were packaged, how easy they were to charge and battery life was close to what was stated. I was not pleased with the fit of the tips that came with them, without a good fit the sound is terrible. I tried to buy some comply foam tips but the website shows the bbg2's are not compatible. So if your looking for quality sound and comfort you might look elsewhere

I've never had problems fitting earbuds in my ears but these will not stay in my ears for longer than 30 seconds and i've tried all of the sizes. The sound is good but they are useless if they don't stay in your ear for long. Im not sure if its because they have odd shaped buds or if its because they are so heavy with no support around the outside of your ear.

I use these with an iPod nano 7th gen and a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. The headphones work perfectly with both. Easy to change tracks and volume without looking, as well as make and receive calls. I use them while running and they don't slip at all, which is very nice to not constantly reach up to push your earbuds back in. I am extremely happy with these. I only wish they came with the charging case like the back beats 2 do. I tried the Motorola S10-HD and returned them for these. I glad I did. I even bought some for my son. His came with the case, which is very cool.

The battery life claims 4.5 hrs. No way. 2.5 on a good day. Charges slow. Nice design. The ear buds tend to fall out. Very scratchy when talking. People on other end claim the sound is scratchy and broken up. Have to disconnect and use the phone without headset. Took it back and got an LG instead. Wish Bose had a small wireless headset.

I bought this unit about two months ago and after two Sony bluetooth earbuds failed within two years. This unit works really well. I run on a treadmill 4 days a week for an hour each time and these work very well with my iPhone. I sweat quite a bit and only on a few occasion have I needed to adjust the earbuds. For $20 I don't know why anyone would not get the charging case. I charge the case every Sunday and the earbuds stay charged throughout the week. Given the price of some bluetooth earbuds, I think for $100 this unit is good buy.
