Decent sound, will not stay in

These are my first wireless ear buds to purchase as I have been waiting for technology to get to where it needs to be. The sound on the ear buds are "okay", not any better, or worse, than my hardwired $20 ear buds. My problem with these is they will not stay in, and I tried all of the different ear buds. I also tried having the cord around my neck, and under my neck; neither of which helped. I will be returning these today for something else.

These headphones have great sound. There are songs with deep bass.. I cannot hear the bass with other headphones, but with these I get deep rich bass. It is important to make sure the earphones fit right to hear the bass. They block out a lot of sound, and I have had excellent clarity on calls. The headphones stay in my ears well during activities like the gym and biking as well.

These are my first pair of bluetooth headphones, and I bought them after my now 2 year old skulcandy headphones died. I was worried about the sound quality being degraded by the wireless connection but they actually have BETTER sound quality than any wired headphones I've had. Great listening time and the charging case makes them great for school.

Love this product. I use it many times every day. It's very comfortable and the battery lasts a long time per charge. I use it to pair up with my iPhone. The connection is so good. I can leave my phone downstairs and I still can receive the audio on the second floor.

Not a very good product at all

I'm returning this product only after a couple of days. Here are some reasons why: * The device is not very comfortable, especially after an hour of use. * The battery life is terrible--only a couple of hours. * It constantly dropped the bluetooth connection with my laptop. Most importantly, it didn't even connect with my Android Tablet (2013 Nexus 7). * The tech support guy was very indifferent to the fact that I couldn't connect to my tablet, and pretty much regurgitated the user manual verbatim. I had already read the manual, so it was not particularly helpful. * The sound quality of this device is not very good, it sounds very washed out and thin. This device isn't inexpensive, and with its considerable and numerous downsides, returning the BackBeat Go 2 was a remarkably easy decision.

I love the style, charging case and fit. HOWEVER, the battery life is only 2 hours. I tried to listen to a 3 hr baseball game and it ran out of battery at 2 hours. I fully charged and it said fully charged when I turned it on but after two different days trying to listen to the ballgames, it just won't go over 2 hours. Thank you for your honest review on our BackBeat GO 2, we are sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble with your unit.

This model should provide you with up to 4.5 hours of media listening time with a full charge. In case the issue is the same we will recommend that you replace this product. Please don't hesitate to contact us at www.plantronics.com/support if you require assistance. Plantronics

I tried to like these, but they made my left ear hurt. I upgraded to another brand and like them. The idea of the aux battery was really appealing and they were offering a $10 gift card at the store with purchase.

I SO wanted these to work! Pro's: super easy to synch with my iPhone (< 10 seconds). Worked 1st time. Great range. Great sound. Easy to use controls and love the voice feature. Con's (& why it's going back): comes with 3 sizes of ear buds. 1 size fit me but the darn things will not stay in for a normal workout doing weights. No way wud I try 2 jog with these b/c they wud fall out. The search continues...

Audio is tinny - poor bass

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The audio sounded tinny when playing music. It was if the bass channel had been turned way down. Decent bass can be acheived in earbuds - I have a corded Philips earbud set that is quite good, but it would have been nice to get good music sound in bluetooth. There is no reason the bluetooth wireless can't do it. These earbuds just don't have a good enough output. It came with three different size ear fittings, and the manual does say the proper fit is necessary for good bass. While there was a marginal difference, it still didn't come close to being good. It was just three different versions of poor bass. Too bad, because the rest of the design is really nice. I've never been disappointed in a Plantronics product before.

I wanted to love these but regardless of the size of the ear piece, they just fall out of your ears (likely due to the weight). That aside, battery life isnt anywhere near what was advertised, after only a couple months they wont even take a full charge, and now they wont connect to anything at all. What a waste of money. Dont buy these. Not worth $100

    Not so much

I was excited to step up to the higher priced Back Beat GO 2. I've used an off brand for over a year, and the battery finally gave out and they don't make it through a run. The ability to charge on the go was a big enticement with these. But.... The earpieces don't fit. When they don't fit, they sound hollow with no bass. When they don't fit, they fall out when I'm running. When they don't fit, they hurt. I've tried every earpiece that came with them hoping for a better fit. I've tried inserting them at every angle imaginable. I've pushed hard, I've twisted, I've finessed them...all to no avail. My ears are average size, and these just won't stay put and sound lousy. The off brand from Amazon fit and sounded WAY better than these. Unfortunately, I tried to make them work for too long, and now can't return them. Now they sit in a drawer while I wait for another batch of the off-brands to come in.

After reading some reviews I was skeptical about buying them but figured I could always return them. Anyway I have no issues keeping them in my ears and they sound great. Battery lasts about 4 or 5 hours nonstop or easily all day if not using them consistently. The charging case is also definitely worth the extra 20

Bought these to use in my atv helmet (which are to bulky to fit). But that's not why the low score. They said 14 hours of use. ...NO that's not even close, I only get about 3 hours max. The head set is too heavy and won't stay in your ear no matter what bud I try. Bluetooth weak and glitches out. And lastly good for talking and junk when playing music.

Really great value for money. Super easy to pair right out of the box. I find myself using them always. I wish the batteries lasted longer than the 4.5hrs specified. Little bit awkward to get into the ear, but very secure once there.

I am very disappointed in this product. The sound is not that great, I wanted to start out with the lower priced model to try, but is was not available for in-store pick or wait 10-14 days so I purchased this model on sale. It is not worth 100, walking or Jogging it constantly falls out of my ears (any size) the stabilizer is worthless. if yo sweat a lot just do not bother with them. Now the sound cuts in and out and it is a lot of static while on a phone call. Needless to say I have learned my lesson. I'm just upset that I didn't take it back and kept giving it chance after chance.

I bought this item for exercising. I love them. They connect easily to my phone or iPod. I never hear interference at all. I love the audio updates of the battery life. The battery life lasts as advertised. I can use it for about 2 workouts before I have to recharge it.
