This model of headset doesn't count with the Caller ID feature. If you are experiencing some issues charging the headset you may want to try using a different micro USB cable to see if there is an improvement. You may also want to test charging the headset directly into a wall charger. I would turn it up but it would not stay there and had to keep trying to turn it up app the time. Also not very comfortable in the ear.

The volume level should remain in place until the volume buttons on the handset and the cellphone are pressed. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset. Please note the ear gel can be changed for a different size (Small/Large) than medium size. The optional ear loop clip is also a good option to provide a better and more secure fit. PLANTRONICS HAS STEPPED ON THEIR OWN FOOT

NOT THIS ONE!! Sound is okay, not wonderful. Controls on device are difficult. Everyone I speak with COMPLAINS BITTERLY ABOUT BACKGROUND NOISE BEING INTOLERABLE. The replacement model for the 3200 Voyager I had previously has a huge thing that goes over the ear that is absolutely the worst imaginable. Coupled with eyeglasses, there is no way it could be worn unless a person had elephant ears. Plantronics has stepped on their own foot!!! GET BETTER DESIGN!!!! Do NOT recommend.

As all of our products, this model is one of our best engineered headsets to deliver superior sound. There are a couple of things you could try to troubleshoot audio issues. Please reset the BT connection. To do so: https://bit.ly/2OOMfnw. To re-pair make sure you set it in pair mode by pressing and holding the call button for 6-8 seconds until LED flashes red and blue repeatedly. Also, please reset the Network settings on your phone. Lastly, testing the earpiece with a different cell phone model and while it is paired with a single device, is ideal to determine the cause of the issue. Please note this model counts with a one-year warranty in case the issue persists. We're sorry to hear you're dissatisfied with the design of some products, these headsets are designed to fit the vast majority of ear shapes and sizes; however, we do know that one size may not fit all and if you find the product too uncomfortable for normal use we strongly recommend that you consider using a headset with a different wearing style. If the volume sound is not working correctly we recommend you to do the following procedure: Go to settings>bluetooth on your phone, Select the icon next to PLT_E505 and unpair your earpiece. Power OFF your phone for 30 seconds then turn it back On. If this doesn't work, please note your unit has a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. Posted .The 505 should have a range of 10 to 33 feet in direct line of sight. If its not reaching that range it may be an issue with the headset or with the connection between the headset and phone. You might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so,
1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. and test.
If the range and quality are still poor, we can try replacing that device. It has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. You can use the following url to view our replacement steps.

In order to troubleshoot connectivity or audio issues you might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so:
1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. If this does not fix your issue, we suggest pairing the headset to another cell phone as a test.
If the issue is not present on the second phone, then the problem may be with the first phone, rather than the headset. If the issue exists on the second phone as well, you will need to replace the headset. If you're having trouble keeping the headset on we recommend that you try adjusting the ear tip hook's angle in your ear or that you try it on your other ear to see if it fits better.
