    Broken in a week

I was looking for a new pair of headphones and thought these might be ok, but even for the money I am not sure if they are worth it. In less than a week I have spotty sound in one ear. Some sounds come in way too loud and others way too quiet, yet when I swap to an old headset or speakers the sound is fine. The fit was good but the sound is just breaking. It seems to be the wiring is just loose.

These didn't last 6 weeks with good care

I purchased these on June 24th and by July 28th, the sound had gone out on the right ear. Computers are my livelihood and I know how to take care of a pair of headphones. This headset was minimally used ( around 10 hours a week ), and never moved more than about 3 feet as they sit on my desk. I only use them late at night if I have work to do and the family is asleep. I read other reviews that said the same exact thing, that after less than 2 months, sound would go out in one of the headphones. Sure, they offer a warranty, and I will send them to be replaced, but what is the point if they are just going to replace them with another pair? Will I be sending for a new pair every month and a half? My father has headphones from the 1970's that still work with only a cable being replaced once. Somehow in 2016 I have yet to find a company that makes decent headphones at a decent price. My most recent pair lasted over 2 years and I thought that was a short amount of time. Wow, was I naive. It seems like so many things now are designed to fail. Save yourself the trouble and shell out extra for a high quality pair of headphones. These are cheap for an obvious reason.
