Good but sound leaks way too much.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of the headphones is nice, the sound quality is decent. But the cross ventilation to keep your ears cool results in a lot of sound leaving out of the headphones and going directly into the mic, which can't do an awesome job of noise cancelling it all. Check out the 515 HD version instead.

Poor Connections

I love these things!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basically, these are awesome headphones for an awesome price. They sound full and clear, they are very comfortable, and they don't feel like I'm putting cups over my ears, as with most noise-cancelling headphones I've owned. The design is pretty sweet. I especially love that I don't have to constantly adjust them to make sure they fit right. Just snap them together, and go. They do tend to wear on my ears after a few hours, but that's just telling me that it's time for a break. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great headset for gaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this gaming headset not knowing if it was good but it blew my expectations out of the water. There are quite a few features that I like about this such as flipping up the mic to mute it and being able to change headbands.

best headphones yet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anyone with a big head will love these the pics are hard to see but the ear pieces also are adjustable. they are very comfortable and well thought out. only downside is no surround or inline controls. i did not remove any stars for this because it comes with a single 4 pole 3.5mm jack that you can hook into a turtle beach in line control. it also comes with a splitter so that the mic and speakers will have their own 3.5mm jack. i still have my old surrond dolby usb box from my last set of plantronic headphones and it works great. so if you want a great set of comfortable headphones and you have a small or big head that you can run any 3.5mm dolby or inline controls with this is the set for you.

just what I needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a headset that allowed me to hear what was going on around me while still offering great game audio. The vented design of this headset allows just that. The customizable design and comfortable foam earcups are worth mentioning too. I can wear these for hours.

Not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was expecting a decent quality headset after reading about 10-20 4+ star reviews but after using them for a good 5 hours I wasn't impressed at all. Bass was almost non-existent and high pitch sounds were screechy. Overall sound was not better than basic earbuds that you get with your phone. Pros- ~Nice design, didnt slip off my ears ~De-tachable parts (hard to find these days) Cons- ~Almost no Bass ~Bad sound quality ~Ears get hot and scratchy after only 10 minutes of use ~Overall bad quality Verdict: These headphones are bairly worth the price even on sale. You're better off getting a pair of Logitech g35s or saving up for a better pair.

Best headset I've owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a bigtime PC gamer and I generally play two hours or more a day after I'm off work. I've tried other headsets that actually were not bad, they were great for sound and the other features they came with. However, I don't know if I just have a weird shaped head or not but the headband portion of all previous headsets (except a Steelseries which I still own) have pressed against the top of my head to the point that it hurt to wear them after 15 minutes. Nearly all of them were cushy and not very firm at all, but still come 15 minutes or so and the pain started. This particular one has a loose, stretchy portion that sits on your head and I've worn this for several hours at a time with no pain at all. Sound wise, its wonderful. I've tried ones with 7.1 simulation and all that extra fancy additions but personally I think that's a waste. These get the job done and I've never had issues with bad quality, sound cut outs, or anything like that. If you want a comfy headset that is reliable (owned these for 8 months), I recommend these

Doesn't Worrk.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a broadcaster. I researched heavily before buying and I'm kinda upset about it, it's been a month. For a while I thought "Well perhaps I just need to adjust to them" not the case. The mic barely picks up my voice when I record and I shouldn't have to jack my volume up to 100 so I can hear things. They're perfectly comfortable and they don't imprint on my head like the previous headsets I own. I bought a two year warranty on these things too. I've tried the volume on my 3DS and Phone to see if it would work, no such luck. Bought em on April 23d. The box they reserved for me was damaged so maybe that's it? I dunno. Pretty unhappy. I don't even hear the bass let alone I can barely hear anything.

Terrible Build Quality for Microphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality for the speakers and microphone is good. The headset adjusts easily for large and small sized heads. Includes adaper to connect headset to a PC. The default connector works by plugging into a PS4 or Xbox One controller. The memory foam ear cups are super comfortable and are vented to greatly reduce hot, red ears. The microphone swings up and out of the way, muting in the upper position. The issue is the microphone will not stay up in the muted position. During a gaming session the microphone drifts down and umutes itself. Very frustrating, especially if you think you are muted and you really arent. This issue has occurred on 2 different headsets. Both products will be returned. Looks elsewhere!

The assembly is neat, the sound is cheap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will not have much to say. The lightness of the frame was nice. Some people will prefer a set of turtle shells on their head but if lightness is all you want this might be your next headset. Even the bass sounded fine, which is another feature some people seem to care about exclusively. However this is the simple reason why I returned them tonight. The higher frequencies sounded like they are coming out of a kids toy and I just could not enjoy games or music with the tinny, hollow sound that was coming out. I was a little disappointed after enjoying Plantronics headsets for the last decade of my life. I would do anything if the .Audio 500 series would just go back into production.
