Reading and apply Get Started booklet hasn't worked. As soon as I hear back from them I can complete this rating. I like the product when it is working.

Posted .To charge the headset you just need to ensure the included USB cable is connected to a USB AC charger or a powered USB port then close the magnetic adapter to the headset's charging contacts.
The headset's LED will flash every ~7 seconds indicating that it's charging and should stop flashing completely and remain on once the unit is fully charged. Static all of a sudden, dropping calls

Then i lost it (found it after buying another, under the couch actually). The new one is full of static, when i move my head, or get more than arm length away from the phone (Iphone 6). After finding the old one, i tried to go back to that and i get the same results. I have removed and re-paired both to test, and they both have the same issue. I am starting to think i got lucky on the first one that lasted so long and did so well in the beginning. I am now researching OTHER brands to use as a replacement bluetooth headset.

In order to troubleshoot connectivity or audio issues you might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so:
1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. If this does not fix your issue, we suggest pairing the headset to another cell phone as a test.
If the issue is not present on the second phone, then the problem may be with the first phone, rather than the headset. If the issue exists on the second phone as well, you will need to replace the headset. Handy Bluetooth.

You might want to try removing your phone's case in order to see if the static goes away or resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue.
To do so:
1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices.
2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone.
3. Re-pair the headset with your phone and test.
If the issue is the same we recommend testing the device with another phone to determine if its on the phone or headset. Works ok but is kinda confusing to use at first

Get the Voyager 5200 Series Instead

Was not told that there was a new updated model. I experienced issues linking to a computer which was necessary to set up the SE. When I called for support, I learned from Plantronics of the newly released Voyager 5200 Series. I returned the SE and upgraded. The Voyager 5200 Series links directly with your phone and no computer is needed for set up or to change settings.

Best Bluetooth on market

Fine... but not perfect

Battery didn't last long enough

Nice product ruined by poor charger connector

Volume and call clarity were very good. Had to return it because the magnetic charger connector would not work to charge the battery. I don't know if they were trying to do a better connector than micro USB or just be different, but the design falls short.

Since we released our Voyager Legend we've received mixed feelings from our users. Because of this all of the Voyager series headsets (Edge, Focus and 5200) released afterwards include our proprietary charging connector as well as a standard micro USB charging cable. We will make sure to forward this feedback to our team!

So so

Hurts my ear after long use

If the unit feels too uncomfortable even after a few days of use we recommend that you try using another ear tip size or wearing the headset on your other ear.
In case you still find the unit to be uncomfortable for day to day usage we strongly recommend trying a lighter headset with a different wearing style, for example our Explorer 80, Explorer 100 or Voyager Edge.

couldn't understand people

People reported to me that when I talked I was perfectly clear. Returned since I could not understand people. Liked features of being able to listen to music thru it and all the features it had. We tried to exchange hoping that it was a fluke but after 2 more with same problem gave up.

Most audio issues can be solved simply by resetting the Bluetooth connection between the phone and headset. We also recommend trying the headset with a different phone and while your phone is not on a case in order to isolate the problem, since Bluetooth devices have a stronger connection when there's a direct line of sight between them and your phone.

Good earpiece
