    The cable has a quality feel, with what feels like brushed Aluminum on either of the ports. The braided cable lends it a certain robustness, but not sure how I feel about it, especially due to hygiene (dirt and grime may accumulate in the threads over time, and could not be washed away). The reason for only 4 out of 5 stars was that my device which, I purchased this for (LG Nexus 5X), does not charge nearly as fast as with the original power adapter and c-type to c-type cable provided with the phone. Now is this due to the power adapters I am using with this cable, or due to the cable itself? Maybe the charging rate is inherently lower with a USB to c-type cable such as this one in comparison to a c-type to c-type. I just don't know, the phone only seems to charge fast with the original power adapter and cable, so I am somewhat disappointed.

    Bought this cable as an extra charge cable for my ZTE Axon 7. The cable works fine, however, the USB C side doesn't really "lock" into the USB C port. Bumping the cord or the phone is enough for the connector to come.out enough for the phone to stop charging.
