At first I was bummed not to be able to use prior USB cords with my new cell phone. But once I bought this C USB cord I realized it's so much better. The cord itself is made of much stronger material. The plug is better because it inserts on either side. No more trying to remember which side works...both now fit.

I had previously purchased a similar cable from window central but did not charge and could not transfer data. bought this cable at Best Buy and it worked perfect. There are a lot of fake cables out there that claim they are type "c" to USB and are not. Don't buy on the net unless you are sure you know the company that makes it and the quality because returning it will cost you more than what you paid for the cable.

With my recent purchase of a galaxy note 7 I found myself needing all new USB type C cables. This cable seems fairly durable however I wouldn't say there is anything specifically remarkable about it. The price however was very good though again, this was the only Type C cable that my Best Buy carried so I can't really compare costs either. Though it was cheaper than some Micro USB cables which for being fairly new technology seemed surprising

The cable is very durable and rigid that is good however the plug falls out very easily.

I use this cable in my car to adapt my old 12V USB adapter to fit a Nexus 5x so I can stay charged on longer trips. It DOES NOT support the same exceptional charging speeds I get at home with the AC powered charger which came with the phone. It seems to charge at about the same rate as my old phone (Samsung Note3) did in the car.

Bought this cable because my new phone is usb c. Doesnt stay plugged is very well. Tends to unplug when going over bumps

It was on clearance so I couldn't pass it up. I just recently purchased a Lumia 950 XL which has a USB type C port rather than the standard Micro USB that most smartphones have. The Lumia came with a USB type C cable but I felt I needed another one for travel/office. It feels very well made and strudy and of course, it does what it is supposed to do.

This cord seems very well built but it says it works on all androids and it does not... Having to return it.

i know it's not equipped with fast charging and it's USB 2.0 to USB C but it's a great cable to have as a secondary charger on the go. stays in my travel bag, universal with older USB adapters, solid product. I would recommend again for any new consumer looking for an alternate charger for their tech setup.

This is definitely a little new to get used to, as far as the new connector type goes, but it doesn't take long since it's ambidextrous. You can plug it in either which way, so it's great! The product itself is tough and sturdy. Good, sturdy cable material. Platinum did a great job here! 5-star recommend!

I wish they made this cable in black, it seems like it may get very dirty easily.

I hate the fact the Note 7 changed cords but I also understand that this is a better option and all phones will be going to this style. The cord is nice but really thick. No issues with it. Really like the fact with this new style, it doesnt matter which way you turn it to plug it in.

The cord is fairly short which isn't a huge deal. Other than that, charges great.

I am happy this Type-C charging cable and I am very pleased with quality. It's a braided/wrapped cable and is pretty thick; this should mean no kinking or breaking, but it is a very stiff cable. This cable seems to be really well made cable and I am hoping it holds up well with use.

This is an excellent USB-C charging cord... It is very well designed and heavier than the old USB chargers which are generally very flimsy. Very, very well-designed. Highly recommend if your phone/tablet has a USB-C port.

Overall this cable is very nice - it charges fast and makes for fast data rates. However, I'm not a fan of the white braided nylon or covering, just waiting for it to get dirty then look bad. It's also a little think so not as flexible as other USB cables - guess there's a price to pay for fast charging and fast data rates.

The build quality of this cable is second to none. However, the price is a little higher than I'd like. However, options are limited due to the fact that USB c-type hasn't caught on yet. Price aside, this cable is great. It still fits snuggly after plugging and unplugging it several times a day for two months.

This is a really well made cable. It's braided and thick, works well for fast charging, and it doesn't allow animals to bite through it like most pvc coated cables do. The only downside is that it's quite rigid, but at least it retains any form you give it.

Totally not what i expected. First drop and it came off the phone.

My phone came with the standard USB C cable. Within 2 weeks my phone started not getting a full fast charge. So I bought this cable. This is in my opinion the best usb C cable you can buy. It's bulky, high quality and durable. You will not be disappointed.
