I’m sure that these work, but the devices i attempted to use this with don’t support it i believe.

Gets hot. Havent had for long. Plugs into tv and device and works.

The product description led me to believe this cord written be what i needed, however it was not.

The cable worked but not as well as I expected! I believe it cuts out at 30hz which is not ideal.

The cable does the job, but I feel resistance when connecting it to my MBA.

Seems a bit unstable. I have to plug and unplug often.

I have MacBook Air. I was using this to connect two monitors. With the two usb 3.1 options, only the top port can feed the screen. When doing that, the bottom port will no accept the charger. So you have to pick one at a time...

From the second I started using this cable it gave me a green screen, so I checked all my connections made sure everything was tightly and properly connected it all was still a green screen. I went and purchased a cheaper cable to see if that one worked just to make sure my computer was not malfunctioning and it worked so it was definitely this cable faulty from the second I got it and I’m assuming that’s why it was sold as open box someone else probably returned it for the same reason

Purchased this to replace an old monitor cord and used it for a month before I noticed my monitor colors taking on a strange pink color (which wasn't happening on my mirrored Macbook Pro display). Unplugged this cord to try and reconnect and noticed the HDMI connector was hot to the touch. Let it cool down and still saw the same pink colors when reconnected. Will try a different cord and am hoping the hot HDMI connector didn't do lasting damage to my monitor's HDMI port.

This cable worked well initially but has recently stopped working after approximately 18 months. I would have expected it to last much longer.

This is a 1 directional cable. For me it didnt work well. The screen I was plugging into did not work properly with the wire. As a result my screen would constantly flash as if looking for the display and then it would work and within seconds flash off again. It was extremely frustrating and was not the type of hassle anyone would want to deal with. Do NOT buy this , it looked great and sounds great but in action it was worthless.

The item was great at first but it easily broke and the apple device would reject it after a few use times. Great concept but disappointed.

I’ve had this connected for 6 months and just happened to need to move it to a different display today. I touched the HDMI end of the cable and burned my fingers. The cable was so hot that I had a hard time getting it to release from the HDMI port on my display. The USB-C end was fine. I’m concerned that this cable is a fire risk and will not be reconnecting it. Too bad the return period has expired.
