Customers praise the 72mm and 77mm Variable Neutral Density (ND) Lens Filter for its price, ease of use, and effectiveness as an ND filter, particularly for slowing down shutter speed. It is also valued for its performance and lens protection capabilities. Some customers have noted a slight color cast as a drawback.

Does exactly as it's advertised, but I love the adapter for smaller lens.

Darkens the image unevenly that it will take an expert post processing to correct the exposure

Works great up to about 7.5-8 stops of Nd but after that there is some severe x patterns, for the price it's not bad

Construction looks solid, but I did tested and returned, after 4 stops it creates a "X" pattern vignetting very difficult to eliminate in post

I purchased this to use in daylight in order to get effects in clouds and/or water but once you turn it more than halfway it has some very strange streaks of black similar to an "x". This filter will not get you anywhere near the shutter speed needed in bright light. The whole point of getting a ND filter is to be creative but this one definitely misses the mark. I returned it the very same day. Hope this review helps!

I noticed when I installed this variable ND filter to my FUJINON 16-55mm f2.8 lens. I saw an X figure thru the lens at the darkest point which was at 8.6 stops dark. It is not desirable for any type of photography at that point. Intended to do landscape photos before hand but ended up returning the variable ND filter within 10 minutes of purchasing product. My camera was a mirror less camera. Not sure how it works with a mirrored camera.

I did not like this because of it being greasy, and I felt this was going to smear it on to my lens, so had to return it the next day.
