Exceptionally thin mount as needed for wide lenses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This filter has an exceptionally thin mount as needed for certain lenses, depending on how wide their view and how close the outer barrel is to the glass elements. It can be tricky to get a clip on cap to stay on the thin mount, but the thin mount is the reason this is useful ... so, no free lunch. It's also not one of the newest type of dirt repellent filters, but it does seem very resistant to reflections. I also would have prefered a traditional round filter case instead of the large clunky case it came with.
