The price is right, this is a basic UV filter, it will provide protection, that is about it, but for that it is good.

I use this on a Nikon 16-35mm lens and needed a filter with a slim frame. I have had it on my lens for a couple of months and it has worked well. Have no complaints.

Waste of money. This is a piece of clear plastic, not glass. It probably does have some UV filter or coating. It has a high reflection with a hue, indicating there’s a coating. But the retaining ring just fell out when I was inspecting and cleaning the filter 6 months after purchase (and very moderate use). Normally you have to unscrew this retaining ring with a screwdriver or sharp object in the notches. I pushed it back together but the plastic filter can turn inside the ring, even when it is mounted on the lens. Not sure if it was glued together or what. At best it protects the lens from scratches, but I would recommend another brand if you want something decent.
