I have an HP laptop that charges via USB-C. Unfortunately, I also have clumsy genes and accidentally bumped into the base at the outlet one day and it completely shattered and stopped working. At the time, the options for replacement were not great. HP's official charger was too expensive for something that can't withstand one accidental bump, so I found another brand and I've never been happy with it. The cord is too short, is permanently attached to the base, and the whole unit just isn't very impressive. All of those problems are solved by this Platinum charger and I'm over the moon with this thing. For starters, the included cord is plenty long and it detaches, which is terrific. There's also an included velcro tie to deal with the excess length whenever it's in the way. The power supply works with both my laptop and rapid charge on my phone (Pixel 3). And the additional USB ports are a great added bonus. I wasn't sure if I would really use them, but then sure enough I have had numerous occasions where I've needed to charge an iPad and it was easier to plug into this unit as opposed to tracking down an empty socket spot elsewhere in the room. And no issues charging two devices at once that I've noticed. Have not attempted charging 3 at once, but I assume it would work just fine. It's also just built well. It's a little top heavy, so if you plug it into the wall upside down it may lean back on you if the fit isn't snug. But that's easier to correct than having something lightweight and cheaply made. It feels solid and I expect it to last even with heavy travel. Complaint? Can we move on from having white chargers and cables already? It looks nice initially but a year from now it's going to look like dirty cement. Would be cool to see somebody introduce some color options to this market. I have a Platinum USB-C to USB-A adapter that is more of a silver color and I prefer that to the white here. But that's a minor quibble.

Device was so heavy that it kept falling out of the wall socket. Returned. Not sure how fast/well it actually charges as I returned before really using it.

I tried to charge my macbook air, iphone, and apple watch with this product and it couldnt do the job with all 3. One device was always without power.

Broke in less than 6 months with normal use. Plugged into outlet & not moved around at all. Metal tip came off. Not good. Better off buying the Apple plug which the store didn't have at the time & salesperson said this one was just as good. Wrong. Expensive & not worth it.

I bought this unit and used it once when I was on a trip and forgot mine at home. I take it out of my bag a month and a half later and it doesn't work at all. I checked which component, either the AC unit or the cable and found that the cable would not work but the AC unit did. Bottom line is I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

it works but it doesn't like to stay plugged in . always falling out of the socket

I am also able to use the available 2 USB ports to plug my iPhone and Apple Watch charging cables into. I've eliminated the need to travel with at least three chargers (1xUSB-C, 2xUSB) to just one. I can use this charger to POWER and CHARGE all of those devices (though not all USB-C devices at once). I'd recommend this for people that travel or that are running low on available outlets.

Do not buy this horrible product. I should be getting a refund for this cheap product that no longer works

When powering my MacBook Air via the USB-C the two other USB pots don’t work. The supplied USB-C cord is very stiff and cheap looking and refuses to straighten put

This thing was expensive and worked really well until it burned out the 4th time I used it! I was really upset because I paid a lot of money for it!

I purchased on 8/2/2021 and yesterday on 3/1/2022 the charger just stopped working. That's 7 months. Is that a reasonable life span?

My dog ate my charger so I had to replace it. Bought this and it didn’t work on any of my chrome books. Had to return. The box was getting power not the cord

This Platinum wall charger has worked great for all of my devices, offering the option to consolidate multiple chargers into one when I travel or when carrying a spare charger in my backpack. But this isn’t your typical spare charger, it’s very fast and can charge up to three devices at once. It also comes with a well built, detachable, eight foot charging cable with an attached Velcro strap to hold it together when not in use. This works nicely for a number of devices around my house, Bluetooth speakers, gaming devices, cameras and more! I’ve been able to try this out on all of my Google Pixel devices. My Pixel phone, Slate and Pixelbook, and it works perfectly. I tested the Platinum wall charger speed on my Pixelbook compared to the factory charger and the results were very close with the Platinum charger coming in at just a couple minutes faster than the factory charger. It is a bit on the heavy side when it comes to portable chargers. The charger and cable together weighs just under one pound at 15.6 ounces. But the high speed, power delivery, multi-device charging and 5 Gbps transfer speeds make this a fully packed compact charger, worth the little bit of extra weight. The design is standard, and it works well for most outlets and power strips. The blue LED indicator light is helpful when in a dark room or when your not sure if the outlet works. I like that the outlet prongs fold into the charger when not in use. I also appreciate the Velcro strap and the heavy duty charging cable that can detach from the charger. This charger would be great for anyone looking to consolidate chargers when on the go, or just around the house. It’s a perfect replacement charger for the Pixelbook or any Chromebook in my opinion.

Power supply didn't fix the issue I was working on

I really like this power brick. The slim design makes it easy to use without taking up a ton of space in my power strip. The native USB-C cable that come with the unit seems to have very robust shielding. It isn't terribly flexible, but it feels like it could take some abuse without falling apart. It connects solidly at both ends and does not easily fall out of either the brick or attached device. Power output seems legitimate. I was able to simultaneously charge my Surface Book, Galaxy S9 and a rechargeable USB fan at my desk with no trouble. I love that it's all through a single brick instead of 3. It has a little weight to it, but that's to be expected from a 95W power supply. I don't feel that it is abnormally heavy. I can't think of any reason that you wouldn't like this unit. I would definitely recommend it.

This filled my need very well! I have a phone, smart watch and a Chromebook that all need to be charged at the same time each evening. I have individual chargers for them, but it is a pain to deal with a huge power strip for all the wall warts. I plugged this in, plugged all my cords into it and was amazed at how well it worked. It doesn't put out hardly any heat and charges all the devices at the same time at the same rate as my individual chargers. As a final test, I grabbed my finicky super slim laptop that complains about just about every charger I throw at it! It charged perfectly and didn't give me any errors about not being the right charger. I'm counting that as a bonus, since I hadn't even expected it to work! I have seen a huge improvement in these kind of products over the years, and expectations are getting higher and higher as competition forces them to constantly reach higher. I would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for a great multi-purpose charger with regular and USB-C ports.

This charger is pretty much your "standard" high standard and high quality USB and USB-C wall charger, but definitely "packs a punch" as it has the ability to charge fast, and charge multiple items at the same time! Utilizing this with my smartphone, fitness tracker, and a tablet, this charger was fully capable of charging all three items at the same time, and completing the charges to full pretty fast. While it does carry some weight to it, it is pretty small and convenient to travel around with. It will also definitely save me from having to carry around multiple chargers now, where I can just now carry this with charging wires/cables. Overall, the quality of this product is pretty good, as well. Looking forward to using this for a long time!
