Basic Cable, does what its supposed too, pretty pricey for a simple cable

Wires are neat, the light helps but doesn't turn off some of the time. Not durable, not worth the price.

For just $5 more than you'd spend on an Apple-manufactured lightning cable, you get a premium product. The tips are encased in a beautiful aluminum-like metal casing (it's probably aluminum, I'm not sure). But the biggest selling point is the inclusion of a white LED light on the lightning connector itself. It powers up for a few seconds when the cable is plugged in to a USB port, and powers off after a few seconds. A simple touch of the aluminum connector re-lights the LED, helping you find the port on your phone in a dark room or car (or, if you're in your car, the cable itself). This feels a lot more solid than Apple's own lightning cables, which are encased in cheap glossy plastic and feature no LED light. And this cable only costs $5 more than what Apple sells theirs for. So far, it appears you can only buy these cables at Best Buy. One thing that does concern me is that, like the Apple cables, there doesn't seem to be a solid build at the neck of the connector (on both the USB and lightning connector ends). While there is a stress relief, it's a solid wrap-around instead of the more-traditional stress relief found on regular power and charge cords. This makes me worried that, like Apple's own lightning cables, it may crack or fray over time where the cable meets the connector. So far, there's no indication this will happen, but if it does, it will be a major bummer. Still, there aren't many cheap options for Apple users who need a spare or replacement cable. If you're considering an Apple-manufactured cable because of its quality or build, don't -- pick one of these up instead. You'll love it.

Had it less than a month and it quit working. The end that plugs into the phone started getting extremely hot and not charging, then my phone gave me a message that the cable wasn't supported

the light is not very bright like the nice packaging indicates, the ends are not made well at all. Mine fell apart with about a half dozen times plugging in the end came off in my device....

Male connector into my iOS mobile device broke within 2 months of usage. Looked like a sturdy product with the price to match. Not recommended if you plan on using frequently.

after 60 days, it starts to lose its connection. currently, it no longer charges and apple doesn't recognize cord therefore doesn't charge and doesn't transfer data

I splurged and purchased this charger last July. It stopped working twice. Usually when your charger breaks you have to buy another, well not this one. The 1-year manufacturer's warranty replaces it for you. I will stick buy this brand an product. Best $20 spent. This light at the end is amazing if you have clear case on your phone, it lights the case up at night like a nightlight. I'm blinder than a bat, so it helps when i;m trying to find my phone at night. Even though it stop working twice, the warranty made go to Best Buy and purchase other items. All of my iPhone geek friends have replaced their Apple iPhone charger with this one.

I love the led light on the cable,plus it charges lightning fast.

These things are great in love for them to sell them again. I would buy at least 5 more i still got the one i bought in gray working condition.

This item comes as described. Light is good as well as the cord length.

What can I say... i've bought my fare share of i-things cables in the years, most of them seem quality built but after a few weeks, month or two they start to show their true colors. Ive had this cable for a few months already, travel often and take it with me, coil it up and stashing away, use it every day. So far it's held up, works great, no issues with the connector or the cable shield, especially at the tips which is where normally the cables of less quality tend to strip and eventually detach or overheat (it's happened to me several time). This is a quality cable and I will most likely purchase another one in the future for my other i-devices. PS: The LED light is a fun gimmick, it doesn't stay light, only when you plug in your device or touch the grip.

This USB cord was needed to replace a less expensive cord which didn't last very long. I really like the quality and the fact that it lights up which makes plugging it in to my charger port in the wee hours of the night a breeze.

Loved the cable because of the lighting tip, very useful in the dark. However, it started to not charge after only 3 months. I had to have the cable positioned right and even after that it would say it was charging but it would not do such thing. Awesome product, but only for a short time

This cable Functionality is very good but i returned it because it couldn't fit through my Phone case. The LED light near USB consumes little power but still indicates when charging.

The plug-in charger is excellent quality. The charger performs as good as Apple charger product.

This product worked great for about 2 months before i started getting "this accessory is not certified" warning on my phone. 2 months of usage is not what i was expecting after shelling out close to $25. Ill never buy another product of theres.
