Lots of pockets for other stuff including my water bottle, pens, notebook etc. The top can be fastened together for even more security. After loading all my stuff in it, I thought it was heavy for one shoulder to carry versus having two shoulders carry a backpack. However, this bag is much more professional looking than a backpack.
