    I purchased this fir my MacBook but the driver software that I had to download wasn’t compatible with the model of MacBook I have which was frustrating so I had to return it. If you have a MacBook that is say 4-5 years old that has usb-c ports. It will work for you!

    I recently changed from a Microsoft laptop to Apple and bought a MacBook Pro. I've found that it is difficult to attach external connectors to this device. I bought this to allow me to plug in my printer, scanner, and other memory devices. This item is not lightweight and is bulky. It does not fit comfortably on my workspace. It doesn't easily fit into my computer case. It's all part of the problem I've found with the MacBook Pro. Too few connectors (although there's 4 ) but with only apple cord connections which are too small for my devices which is why I bought this device in the first place.Lighter weight and more flexibiity in the cord connections on this device would help substantially improve its' utility. And there's also the problem with the learning curve between Microsoft and Apple products.
