    I purchased this item in October, 2021. As of February, 2022, pass thru power/charging intermittently stops functioning. Instead, my Macbook Air indicates that it is receiving power from the charger, but the battery runs down until, eventually, the battery drains and the system shuts itself down. I'm using an 87W USB C PD charger which works, just fine, when plugged directly into the laptop, so I know it's not the charger, itself. This is very disappointing, as this unit worked wonderfully for several months but seems to have issues, now.

    The connections work as represented, but support for items that need USB recharging current is very poor. The Hub Extender does not supply enough current to get the job done si its usefulness in recharging devices is very limiting.
