worked good for about 6 months and now, without notice, will disconnect the RJ45 network connector. I need to unplug and replug the hub into the laptop after which the HDMI will not reconnect. I need to keep unplugging and plugging it in until I luck out and it both HDMI and network work together. Next day, I'm on a work conference call and it disconnects network again.. rinse and repeat

I got this for my new MacBookPro 16", but it doesnʻt work as a power pass through. It does work with my work Dell however, but I needed it for the MBP

only one of the type c outlets on this device provides power. The dual type c connector cord is too short which adds clutter to desk. Not worth the bang for the buck. very disappointed- lost receipt or i would be returning it

Works well but requires extra power. You actually have to run a power wire to it and have it plugged in for it to work. Otherwise it’s solid.

it works, get what I need done except it doesn't allow me to read movies or songs, I most likely just to impatient to deal with it.

I really would not recommend this hub if you use it with the purpose of plugging in a monitor with your MacBook. I have a MacBook Pro, and when I started taking my college classes online, I bought a monitor and this adapter to use for that. I noticed initially the HDMI connection was spotty, and would flicker if I messed with the adapter, which was not an issue for me since it stayed in the same spot on my desk all the time. About 3 1/2 months into owning it, the HDMI port just gave out randomly all of a sudden during a class. I tried everything, and nothing was able to fix it, so I had to replace it with something else. This time I bought one made by Anker, and I HIGHLY recommend that brand, since the Anker one was the same price, made better, and more ports.

Used this dock to connect a printer and a hard drive. Printer would constantly go offline, hard drive would also lose connection leading to data loss. Power pass through wouldn't keep laptop charging, would lose connection and need to be unplugged and re-plugged in. MacBook Pro Two Thunderbolt ports

This didn’t work. I bought this right as we’re going into WFH. I was unable to return it due to the company not taking returns at the time. I tried speaking to a store employees (through my car window), and online methods and found no solution. So I purchased another- and that one worked. But by the time the store was taking returns again, of course the window had passed. So I paid DOUBLE for this item. Amazing how companies will rip you off through the fine print, but it was the only option I had at the time.

I thought I had found the perfect MacBook dock for a great price. Everything worked flawlessly, until I started having serious home network issues after using this dock. I had an Ethernet cord plugged into this dock for a wired internet connection, the other end of the cord was plugged into a switch. It worked great until I undocked my MacBook. The dock then creates an Ethernet loop. In case you aren’t aware, loops completely break networks. I had to return this, because it was unusable and it took me a very long time to diagnose this was actually breaking my home network.

I had to return. This product was not compatible with my MacBook Pro.

Excellent, very good and functional, it is a great tool for designing and storage

This device is ok for connecting several peripheral devices. However, the micro SD card reader fails most of the time. It will recognize the card and then drop it. The device runs hot and doesn't like another usb 3.0 hub plugged into it or your drives will disconnect. I've lost several graphics files when the drives disconnect.

It works well. Easy to use. Wish it wasn’t a double prong.
