Good for Looks not for Protection

I've dropped my phone plenty of times with other cases and never once cracked a screen until this case. I dropped my iPhone 6 on its face and it chipped the corner of the glass. There is no lip around the front edge of this case to protect from a front face down drop. Love the look but not good for protection. FYI I've never put a screen protector on the glass of any of my phones. Beautiful looking, genuine wood finish.
