bought for my brother...The belt clip broke in a week he wasn't happy about it

This is a good & very convenient case holder. It is also reasonably priced.

Great iPhone protection but holster is too weak. I exchanged for new one

I've used similar platinum cases in the past for pretty much all my other iphones. the case works great. the holster for this one is not as strong as the ones I have had in the past. After about 2 weeks of use the clip for the holster has broken. It may just be one bad apple but its still annoying.

I buy about 6 of these a year as the clip always breaks.

A bit bigger than what I was expecting and it broke after 2 days , I will exange it ,and hope the new one lasts longer

After a year of heavy use, this case is still working and looking great!! I shopped around for a while, looking for something less bulky than the Otter but still protective with a good belt clip and kick stand. I found the Platinum at Best Buy one day and decided to give it a try. I was expecting to return it, but I was so impressed and kept it!! 1- Highly resistant to scuffing and scratching 2- Easy clip in and out 3- Two kickstand options— the belt clip doubles as a kick stand, and the kick stand on the phone sleeve when it is out of the holster. Truly a great case!! Keeping making these, and PLEASE keep the quality high!! If so, I’ll buy agian as soon as I upgrade my iPhone 7. Thanks much.

I've used this same case for my iPhone 6s for years. I like it so much I purchased the same case any time the holster broke, and it breaks often. This "iPhone 8 compatible" version is not as great. The case it too tight, to the point I thought I would crack my new phone. Eventually I had to remove the felt padding inside for the case to slide on and off with ease. The camera window still does not line up exactly, meaning this case was not built as specific for the iPhone 8 as it should be. Compared to other cases on the market, this is still a great design. Wireless charging is still capable. I wish they'd tailor it more to the specific model.

I had a similar case for my iPhone 6, so I purchased this case when I upgraded to the iPhone 8. Seems this case is designed for a slightly smaller version of the iPhone than is currently manufactured by Apple. The two pieces of the case do not fit the phone resulting in an 1/32" gap between the pieces. I was difficult to slide the pieces together. I fear I might snap the phone in two in the process. The stand feature is a nice idea, but the stand piece as the outer part of the belt clip make it difficult to remove over my belt.

Best case period. A little thick but very manageable.

I carried a Platinum case with a kickstand for years with my former iPhone and Samsung Galaxy products and I loved the prior product. However, I absolutely hate Platinum's "revision" for my new iPhone 7. The "cupped" upper corners make it extremely hard to quickly un-holster the phone with one hand. Before the change, user could easily open the latch and push out the phone with one's thumb. Now, NOT so easy. Need to get your thumbnail in there "just so" OR "contort" your hand OR use 2 hands -- quite annoying each and everytime

the phone falls out of the holster too easily. this was never a problem with previous versions (this is my 3rd or 4th iteration). not sure what they changed but it wasn't an improvement.

The iPhone 7 case has a little thicker feel than the iPhone 6 case. This case also feels softer and more rounded than the iPhone 6 case.

This is a strong case and clip looks like it will last not like other ones that the clip ends up breaking a month later.

A big fan of these Platinum holsters for the iPhone 6 and earlier iPhones, I cannot recommend the iPhone 7 version of this holster. This version is thicker and heavier in every way - the two-piece case and the belt clip. It may offer more protection, but it also is much heavier, turning a light, trim phone into a much more hefty device. Worse, it is extremely snug - hard to get on the phone and nearly impossible to get off the phone without tearing it completely apart. Be aware of all of this if you buy this product.

Belt clip plastic broke near the spring, didn't even last a month. I'd look elsewhere.
