I’m more of a videographer but like to take photos and needed something to try out flash photography since I only have continuous lighting for videos.
This does the job. Better than the Sunpak or cheap-o Amazon stuff but not a bankbuster like the official Nikon flashes.
I use this with my Nikon Z6, so I can confirm that it will work on the hot shoe no problem if you turn off silent photography mode... Took me a minute to figure that out, haha. It should work with the other newer mirrorless too but I can only personally confirm the original Z6.

This is my first flash and it's awesome!
Auto mode is perfect, it really helps make your pictures better.
Manual was easy to adjust.
The refresh rate is very fast!
A pro flash for a fraction of the big names.

After adding this to my D3400, pictures look much sharper and clearer, more than with the regular pop-up flash. And i can trigger it remotely even with my beginner camera with the pop-up flash to create another direction of light and fill in those hard shadows

I'm a novice when it comes to flash photography, but the features and build of this flash could easily be something I see coming from Nikon. It has all the features, for a fraction of the cost. Even the case it comes with is nice. The functions on the flash are easy to use an navigate. The manual it comes with is in clear, plain, proper common English. I note this only because I've seen comments on other cheap off-brand flashes that one of the issues is an unusable manual. I got this flash on sale for $100, and at that price, I don't know why you would get anything else.
My only (minor) complaint is I can't find any fitted dome diffusers for this flash.

Bought this to use on Nikon D7100 - Works well and great range and fast. Much cheaper than buying the original Nikon flash. Unit is a little bigger that nikon flash but does the job.

I bought this flash as it appeared to have the same functionality as the Nikon Speedlight but at a much lower price. I found the instructions confusing and could not set up this flash to use all its functions. After struggling with it for a week, I ended up returning it. Saved up and ended up buying the Nikon Speedlight.

I had done some checking on this Flash and for the cost (it was on sale at the time) I thought I would go ahead and pick it up. I had just purchased a new Nikon D500 and after reading up on the flash with that camera some of the camera abilities would not work with this flash. Like I said, reviews were good for this price point, but make sure to check whether it will work completely with the camera you are going to be using.

The price is amazing and I can’t tell any difference between it and Nikon made ones at twice the price point. Great buy all around.
