||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a smartphone that you could buy from Walmart (nothing too fancy like an iPhone or Galaxy) and this charged my phone WAY, WAY faster that it would when it's plugged into the USB port in my car. I can only imagine how fast it would charge the really nice phones that other people have

Rapid charge worked for a week

Much better than the gas station buys I had made before in a pinch. However, that stopped working after about a week. I can't say whether or not it was just a defective unit as I never exchanged it, but I'm not as enthused as I was the first week.
