    I bought this to use a USB 3.0 drive on the USB C port of a Samsung Galaxy A01 phone. Problem was; I had to take the phone sleeve off the phone because the USB C male connector was not long enough to connect through the phone sleeve slot. Keep this in mind if you are going to use a phone sleeve or case . You might want to go with a adapter or cable that will fit through the slot.
