I bought this adapter so I can use USB A devices with my new MacBook Air. The adapter is solid and well built. I gets the job done with no issues. I bought it when it was on clearance. It is overpriced at full price.

Used with my Apple Laptop. Perfect length to connect external device. Works fine. Haven’t had opportunity to test transfer speed.

So my niece lost he original adapter so I had to get this one. She has given me no complaints and I am glad that I found it. Really not a bad price.

I think everyone needs this just to be able to download and save your files or photos to a Flash drive for convenience. I have this Type C and I previous bought a type b just in case.
