Great gift for someone who just bought the iPhone.

The case itself looks great and trendy. Having the slick surface though means your phone is going to slide all over the place, which it does.

At first, I was hesitant to buy this case because I thought it wouldn't be protective enough since there wasn't a lip over the screen. I thought I would just give it a shot and I'm glad I did because it does the job well for me and I like the way it looks. I'm not one who typically drops their phone, so if that is you, you may want to find something a tad bit more protective but if you are more careful with your phone I would definitely recommend this case.

Decent case that at least looks different. More manly than most cases. But a liltte bit hard to touch and slips on flat surfaces.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more elegantly beautiful cellphone case than a Platinum wood case. I prefer minimalist beauty and don't need mil-spec protection for my phone. I also need a case with a wide open bottom edge that fits on the powered phone dock in my car. The Platinum wood case is PERFECT for my needs. I DID have to exchange my first one, because the wood cracked at its weakest point; the very narrow strip above the cutout for the camera lenses and flash. However, I don't find this unacceptable, because wood is, after all, a natural material that has inherent weaknesses.

It's a very beautiful case. Cons are I've only owned it for about 2 weeks and the back of it is scratched pretty badly.

I was disappointed the when I dropped my phone the case cracked ... at least nothing happened to the phone.

I absolutely love the look of the case. It's slender and made with beautiful walnut. However, two days after putting this in my iPhone, I dropped it and it shattered my screen. If you are gentle with your phone and are always around carpet then this is the case for you. However, if you tend to drop your phone, don't get it. There is absolutely no protection whatsoever.

Try to find it at thrift stores or yard sales, try not to support rip-off culture

I love the looks of this case, but it does not give very much protection on the corners.

Go to the store to buy one of these so you can open them all and pick the grain you like best. This case has a really nice high-end feel to it and compliments the glass of the phone with a natural material that feels hand-crafted (yet is obviously precision-milled).

I got this for my son. He loved the look but it scratches very easily.

I dropped this case once and the entire corner broke off. Disappointed

Great case. I bought it for my 6Plus when the whole bend gate drama was going down due to the hard wooden back. It flexed the least out of all the cases I compared it too. I purchased this when I got my iPhone 7 Plus and was happy to see they removed the small plastic pieces near the volume and power button that were prone to breaking. It's been my favorite brand and I've never used another as my daily case on my phone.

Very frágil the wood got cracked really easy, it looks ugly already.
