Oliver Stone classic

The movie will stir your emotions. Nothing about war is pleasant and this movie does not shy away from it. I will not give any spoilers - but a must watch!

I didn’t see the waxy bits everyone is quarreling about. Perhaps you just need the right display. I enjoyed it sufficiently. Minus one star because Tropic Thunder ripped this movie to shreds and I can’t watch it without snickering.

Great 4k Disc

Best Vietnam War Movie

It is a well-made film with enjoyable characters that you love and love to hate. The film showcases the brutality of the Vietnam War.

Excellent 4K Transfer

Expected better from shout.

Its been DNR'd heavily resulting in a blurry presentation. It looks like someone smeared vasoline across my screen. Such an iconic film doesn't deserve this treatment. Won't even recommend if it was discounted heavily.
