Lots of storage but takes forever to load items

I've learned to add one or two at a time and that seems to speed up the process. It's a bit of a pain but for the storage size and price, I'm willing to deal with it.

Problems with memory

When I wanted to put something else on the drive I found I only had 5 gig of memory available. I have to return the drive to find out what happened to the missing 43 gigs of memory. This is the first time I had any problem with a purchase from Best Buy.
