High capacity but slow

Was converting only 50gb of data but it took WAY too long. 5 hours later it still had not transferred the data. USB 2.0 is too slow. Returned it - no questions asked - for a 64gb 3.0 drive which worked great. Less capacity but much faster xfer rate. Unsure how it would work for Windows-based devices but it does work on Apple devices.

Very Poor Throughput
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to copy 60GB of data. To my new internal SSD (Samsung), it took ~ 40 minutes. To my external 7200 RPM hard disk, it took ~ 2 hours. To this USB drive, it was over 40 hours. I bought this USB thumb drive to replace an external hard disk for backup purposes, but as you can see, it is a total failure, since it is truly 20x times slower.

Poorly Built

I had a lot on my computer so I left it to back up overnight (I thought that it was because of all the files but that was not the cause I found out later). The next day, I tried to access the flash drive and it would not work. It had burned up! I ran to Wal-Mart and picked up another Flash Drive and it saved the material on my laptop in about an hour.

very slow in trasfering data
