I was unable to slide the cover back to expose the connection and had to take it back to the store to get this done. The woman in that Department was able to slide it out but was unable to return it to protect the connection. When I plugged it into my computer, I was told that it needed to be formatted before it could be used. When I told the computer to format it the device, the computer said that the device was locked so I could not be formatted. Therefore, I am on able to use this piece of equipment. If I had been able to find the purchase slip I would have returned this article. There is a definite problem with this unit.

For my purposes, where speed not necessary, the price trumped the speed.

Worked well for quite a while, but after 6 months or so the stored files became corrupted. Even after re-formatting, it doesn't work properly. So, if you are counting on this for long-term storage, beware. For daily file transfer, it is generally fine.

Purchased this 128GB USB drive to transfer music from an old computer to an external hard drive. Did the job perfectly and was on sale at a great price! Highly recommend.

It holds a lot of music but when I play it in the car there's a problem with searching the entire drive and it's slow. Don't know if it's the gb's because I have a 32gb flash drive that works perfect.

good value for memory storage, but slow transfer speed

I bought this memory so I could free up some space from my computer. I didn't know this brand. The memory was supposed to be 128 GB, but it's only 119 GB, where are the other 9 GB???? It is very slow. I bought two and I'll be returning the other one that is not open.

This is an updated design and (maybe) firmware of pny 128GB 2.0. I think the old version was better. Sturdier, easier port sliding, and faster writing. The only reason I bought this because it supports mac os 8.6 and later. I have a twelve year old imac.

The first one I bought went bad within 3 weeks,and I couldn't get a refund and the next one has been so-so. Sometimes it recognizes the content and sometimes it doesn't. I will probably try a different brand next time.

I have had problems with this drive disconnecting with the computer but otherwise it has worked well.

Returning item ASAP. Picked this up due to the sale and value for the size, however the product is junk or the one I have has issues. Transfer speeds are garbage, not getting better than 350k write speed. Before you think it's operator error - it's not. Using this on a 3.0 USB drive, proper device configuration and have multiple other portable media drives/sticks/cards of same size that all transfer at correct speeds. The read speed and transfer from device is fine, however, the write speed is garbage. Exchanging for Sandisk as I've never had an issue with them.

Does its job but probably overpriced compared to other storage devices.

Plan to give to the kids as stocking stuffers for christmas

I was in a rush when I bought this flash drive in store, so I didn’t see it was USB 2.0. I can’t believe Best Buy is still selling USB 2.0 devices. It’s so slow! I would not recommend buying one of these no matter how cheap they become.
