Abysmal write speeds, saved by dual form factor

I incorrectly assumed 200MB/s read speeds might apply to writing. USB 3.2 Gen 1 has a spec speed of 5Gbps, or 625MB/s. The 200MB/s number is low by USB 3.2 standards, but the price and the dual form factor make up for it a little bit. At 200MB/s, copying a 50GB file would take around 4.25 minutes (heavily rounded). My transfer of a 50GB file is 2GB in and has "about an hour" left. I think these little sticks throttle due to heat, but not sure. Either way, I would not recommend these to anyone.
