Very disappointed with write speed

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased both the PNY Elite-X Fit 128GB flash drive and the Sansung Fit Plus 128GB flash drive and compared them on a Lenovo ThinkBook laptop with a SSD system drive, i7 processor, and Windows 10. My results from copying a 4GB file from the SSD to and from each flash drive (both formatted as exFAT) are as follows. It took 368 sec to write the large file to the PNY drive vs 41 Sec to the Samsung drive (approx 11 MBs vs 102 MBs). The read performance was much closer. It took 23 sec to copy the 4GB file back to the system disk from the PNY drive and 15 sec from the Samsung (approx 182 MBs vs 280 MBs). Formatting the drives as NTFS showed similar differences. Bottom line: The tiny size of both drives is great for use on a laptop where the you can leave them inserted while carrying the laptop, but the very slow write speed of the PNY drive makes it only useful (to me) for accessing reference or archival type material.
