Customers are saying

Customers commend the 128GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive for its remarkably small size, substantial storage capacity, and high-speed transfer rates. Users also appreciate its ease of use and reasonable price. However, some customers have noted that the drive can heat up when transferring large amounts of data, and a few have expressed concerns about the design and the potential for misplacing the cap.

USB 3.0 device, not 3.1 as advertised

This is not the product advertised, it is a USB 3.0 device. Other than that product is fine. Saw it web site for a good sale price, went to store the next day to buy in person for a trip I was leaving on that night. Once in store confirmed by packaging and 3.0 printed on device, that it was actually a USB 3.0 device. Note signage in store for this model number also labeled it as 3.1 Unfortunately it was too late to order a different 3.1 flash drive from a competitor and have shipped. To buy a different 3.1 in store was 3 times as much.

    Slow

Reading speeds are good, but writing speeds are horrible. Can only sustain fast transfers for 4 to 5 seconds before slowing down to about 3mb/s. Not a good device if you are often transferring files.

Turns out this drive has only 115GB available to actually use. Yes, on sale but be prepared to lose 13GB.
