I installed this in my laptop and it would not boot. I later found this is not low voltage memory like most laptops require so it will not work for me.

I buy this menories to improve my macbook pro, and it work a litle better but not that much. But it was a good pratcice to change them.

You just remove the old RAM chips, install these ones and start the notebook and everything works. I have HP Pavilion dv6-6b51nr Notebook. Of course, before buying the memory I checked the RAM compatibility with my notebook.

Nice packaging, sure that it would have worked as well as the correct ram for my computer. However a distinct lack of specifications such as voltage is missing from the package as well as the web page specs on BB's website. Instead you have to look at the part number for a -lv when you need low voltage ram. Wasted 2 days trying to run mem-test on the ram to see if it was bad or was my laptop. Looses three stars for that.

Memory is good and easy to install, just make sure the staff understands which model it is going in so the voltages are correct.

This memory was installed to increase the iMac capacity to 32 GB. Installation was easy and I saw immediate improvement in computer performance after installation

These ddr 3 ram sticks work well with my 2012 Macbook pro and make all of the processes run much much faster... ESPECIALLY my video editing!!!

There is nothing g special here it works as it should. No real issues. In the computer we used this memory it did not make that much of a difference for the price.

Took the chance on PNY being a lower cost brand to update a 2011 macbookpro and I am not disappointed.

Installed this in my laptop for better performance and the laptop didn't read the sticks

I have no idea why I purchased this only to find out the geek squad could not up grade this product because of the warranty with the MacBook pro computer. I returned it but I was told I could have this when I got the computer to increase bite. I still have the computer and have never really used it. I guess I am just weird because I have heard many people like this computer but I don't yet.

Was DOA when i installed it in my laptop. Returned it with no problems.

Tried to upgrade my iMac with this, and it definitely is not compatible.

It was advertised to work with Mac but it didn't with the 2008 MacBook

These work perfectly in a 2014 iMac despite argumeing with the geek squad rep. He claimed they wouldn't work.

The cards for the upgrade for the RAM on the computer were very easy to install and have helped with download speeds.

Finding upgrade Mac ram is often a challenge. This set is far cheaper than what other vendors offered for similar RAM, however I was leery about buying "multi-speed" RAM. My experience with this product might not be normal, but with both sticks in, my MacBookPro would reach a hardware fault and forced reboot status in under a minute. It was simply impossible to benchtest it. Removing one stick I was able to benchtest the memory and found faults with both sticks. Compounding the issue was that when I attempted to return it to the store for a replacement, the units were not to be had locally. I was offered a refund which I accepted. I can not recommend this RAM for use in Macs even though it shows the Mac Icon on the package.

Bought these to replace a set of Crucial that failed, fantastically stable and worth it.
