Didn't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I placed three orders of this Ram for our laptops after chatting with Representative online to verify that it was compatible with the various Dell models that we have. Once we got the Ram in it was not compatible with any of our computers. When I contacted them back they told me that it showed to be compatible. The only identifiable difference is the voltage. Dells run on 1.35 volts and these ram are 1.5. So don't buy them for a Dell and do your own research.

Good upgrade

16G RAM Mac Book Pro

It actually crashed my hard drive on TWO deferent Macs. It is not Mac comparable as it indicates. Do not buy such product for your Mac Book. Pro!!

Worked for a while

Turned out one of the chips failed causing the system to not power up. Once I removed the bad chip, the laptop turned on just fine. It isn't the memory slot since I can put one of the old chips in and it works just fine.

OMG its alive

I plugged it in, WIN7 loaded the drivers, then it just took over the computer and my coffee maker. I had to throw the main breaker to my house to stop its take over of all my electronics!!

memory caused problems with my laptop

Very disappointing.

Bad Ram

Cpu started crashing right after I put in the two ram cards. Best buy gave me a credit but no refund because I waited more than 15 days. I've had luck with Crutial ram in the past so I'm going to try them.

Great memory for the $ & works in Dell XPS17 L702x
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this RAM on my Dell XPS17 (L702x) that is running Ubuntu Linux 14.04.3. Installation took just a few minutes from start to end (it took me longer to find the correct size phillips head screwdriver). Booted up my laptop and it saw all 16GB of RAM. For those of you with this same laptop, 8GB RAM and only 2 memory slots, the 2x8GB RAM works like a champ. No problems. So, yes, you can install 16GB RAM on the L702x. Definitely good RAM for the price.

Doesn't work in Macs
