Needing 3.0 speed is of know concern because there is not a lot of data stored that needs to be transferred. The design is what I liked best about these thumb drives. Sliding case that provides protection when thrown in a computer bag for later use.

Well-suited for the need

Only drawback is that transfer off of them is so slow compared to what we've all come to expect now that its USB3+ technology.
