When you have a surveillance system and the police need the footage. You don't want to give them a big gigabyte flash drive. So I purchased this one.

Excellent for back-ups

I have transferred the operating systems for my machines to the thumbdrives and keep the units with their corresponding computer in the event of a CPU failure so they can be restored.

USB flash drive

Best Buy was the only local store with them in stock. They got the job done. I would have liked usb 3 but it honestly didn’t matter much.

Works okay for general sneaker net use

Works prefectly fine as a general purpose storage though (which I used for general downloading and transferring of device drivers, etc).
