Affordable, reliable storage

After I plugged it into my aging 2008 MacBook, the drive showed up on the desktop without having to install any software prior to using it. I have used it over and over to back up and retrieve files and have yet to encounter any problems with it. The sliding clear cover also helps to protect the USB port, which is good if you tend to keep it in a drawer or backpack where it could get damaged when not in use.
