I upgraded my windows 7 laptop through Geek Squad and had them install 2x8gb PNY DDR3 memory cards into a HP Quad core laptop. The product has worked as i hoped, I'm pleased with this brand of memory card Manufacture and would recommend it to a friend.

I actually bought three of these. Used one to increase the memory in a Dell SFF desktop I use for video processing. Fit just like it should, and doubled the available memory. The other two were for my laptop, also a Dell. Unfortunately I bought the wrong type. Check if you need "Parity memory", I do enough PC work that I'll just save it for another project though. Tested all three in the desktop, just in case. Quality on all three was good.

It was a good buy and works just fine. Once it was added to the laptop, the difference was noticeable.

Used it (along with a new SSD) to upgrade my 8 year old all-in-one desktop. Definitely made a difference!!

Not all ddr3 ram is the same, besides speed and capacity differences, I needed ram that supported 1.35 volts, and pny does the trick, so well that I ordered a second stick to populate my dell laptop, works really well now with 16GB

I don’t have much knowledge on how to replace hardware components but I wanted to upgrade my laptop memory to boost the performance. I work mostly work on software tools so performance is key. I had 8 gb ram before and I ordered online 8 GB ram and picked it up at curb side pickup. Installed ram in one hour by following online tutorials. new ram is up and running and now my laptop is performing better than before.

works on older computers my Dell is almost 10 years old and the inside says DDR3 however, one cannot mix and match. The same memory module per slot, with the same voltage or it does not work. i.e. 8GB memory stick will not work with an additional 4GB stick, but alone it will...

Used this RAM to upgrade an Asus laptop from 6GB total to 12GB total RAM. Windows 8 recognized it immediately with no issues. Clock speeds were consistent with spec'd values. Price point was on par with most averages, so this was neither great value or terrible value for the price.

I had a hp all in one that needed a slight upgrade. It was slow before I put these ram sticks in. Now it cut the loading times in half.

Was able to go from 2gbram to 2 144 pin8gb x2 = 16 gigabyte of ram makes a huge difference in reaction time of device & much less freeze ups. No regrets & Best Buy is on their game,,,,,look out Amazon//??? bestbuy.com is coming to your house next! Keep it Local, keep it MN :)

I used this to replace a 4 GB memory module in my laptop to go from 8 GB to a total of 12 GB. Works great! Either replace all your RAM, or make sure what you're buying exactly matches what you'll be pairing it with.

I've always found it almost impossible to really tell ram improvement because typically they are very subtle (and aging hard drive plays a part), but this seemed to a good product. I was very happy with the upgrade.

Had a black screen on laptop, decided to try this as the possible problem and it worked. Got lucky I guess! It's been about 3 weeks and so far working good. Time will tell, like everything else.

My computer could barely function on my video work. But after I stalling this product I am up and runni g smooth and fast and can finish my work in minutes rather than hours. I wish I had purchased this long ago.
