I was going to use it for work, but ended up using it to add some memory to the XBox....works for that.

I'm used this USB drive to backup the original system files on my new laptop and it worked great.

For 10 smackaroos, it surely is a great acquisition. Write speeds vary from 9-12MB/s and read speeds from 14-20MB/s when dealing with single, large(r) files. Read/Write speeds will degrade significantly if you want to copy large number of smaller files, but as I said. For 10 bucks it really is a great deal. Thinking of buying a few more. The only downside is the retraction mechanism for the "cap" as it sometimes gets stuck and you need to force it into position, but it really is a minor inconvenience. Recommended.

This makes keeping information easier without putting so much data on the hard drive.

It works as I expect and I haven't had any problems with it in the short time I've had it. It does have one annoying condition. The clear plastic cover that slides back and forth over the plug is extremely hard to move. You'll need to give it a strong yank to get it to move. The shield is not designed to prevent entry of dirt into the plug.

This drive has good transfer speeds. I get on average about 15-20mbs. Has been reliable with no data loss.

I bought this item during black Friday, and i got it for $15 which is an awesome price for its size (16GB). However a couple weeks pass by, and I dropped it on a hard ceramic floor (a 2 feet long drop only) and the thing stopped working completely, and i'm sure it stopped because of the drop because only minutes before it fell i was using it on my PC. Its a real shame and waste. unlike my more reliable Imation flash drive which (like many average flash drives) has had so many drops and bangs, it works perfectly every time I plug it in. but thats what I get for looking for cheap alternatives. I should've trusted my instinct that told on Black Friday not to buy this UNknown brand, no wonder ALL PNY products were on high sale that day and none of Imation products were, but here we are.

It is a good flash drive. the "cover" is slightly flimsy but other then that it is fine

Got this one at great price, and it serves the purpose as expected.

Bought this because it was the cheapest 16GB drive BB had and from the picture it looked a little more interesting than the equivalent priced Geek Squad drive. It works fine, but is missing a LED to tell you when the drive is being used. Not a big deal, but I like the LED and expected it to have one. Also the plastic sliding shutter does not work at all on either drive that I bought. It opens fine, but takes an extraordinary amount of effort to close it again. I'll probably end up cutting the shutter off, or get someone with an iron grip to open and close it a few dozen times to see if that wears the mechanism down to the point that I can actually close it. Overall it feels like a cheap drive and I would rather have a different one but at least it works and appears to have the full 16GB capacity.

Its a very good USB 2.0 drive with high capacity for the price. However since it is only 2.0 the performance can be slow at times but it should be good enough for most of the normal users who don't copy/store data on a daily basis.. who does anyway...

I got this drive recently to use with my xbox360. I had a ten dollar gift card from Christmas that I just had to spend. I don't have a problem with the drive itself it works as expected and transfers files fast. The sliding cover dose its job fine and the drive dose have a small LED on the one side that could be easily missed depending on where your usb port is. The big problem I do have is that the drive I got is only 15GB which is no where near 16GB. I even checked to see if there was a hidden partition on the drive, no such luck. The package does say that actual capacity may vary which is understandable; it takes some memory just to format the drive. To be missing a whole gigabyte though? That's just ridiculous. I plan on taking this back to Best Buy over the weekend to see about getting one with the full amount of storage. I'll post back the results.

This is exellent flash drive. So fast transfer. I recommend this flash to everyone.
