It worked ok for a USB 2.0. I didn't use it excessively, maybe 4 times per week just to transfer files. I bought it in October 2015. In April 2017 it no longer was recognized by any computer I tried it in. The drive doesn't even show up on the computer so I couldn't even trouble shoot it. I paid $8.99 in 2015 and now they are selling this piece of garbage for $24.99. I have a Lexor that I have been using for over 10 years and it still works fine. I will never buy PNY again.

This is the first time I ever had a thumb drive fail. I bought this shiny new 32gb drive and used it for about a week and a half, just for work documents, and one morning I plugged it in and it simply wasn't working. Couldn't recover my documents. You know how disappointing that is. I didn't need the speed of a 3.0, 2.0 was just fine for Word and Excel docs, but...nothing. So, I spent the day recreating my documents and now I'm back to using my very reliable 4-year-old thumb drive.

Works great for extra storage. Transfer speed is what you'd expect from USB 2.0 thumb drive.

Purchased 2 of these. The slider that covers the USB connector is very tight. I am a reasonably strong adult male and struggled to push back the slider on one of the units, but could not push the slider back on the second - had to use a lockjaw pliers to make the item usable. Seems like a dumb design to protect the outer metal part of the USB connector but leave the internal part exposed to dust and insects. Also it is not obvious at first that the slider pushes back - it cannot be removed. Given how tight the slider is, I plan on leaving the USB port exposed for fear of breaking the unit by forcing the slider close or open. Write speed is a slow 4+ MB second, read speed is 20+ MB second. Used CheckFlash to check for errors, none found.

Drive won't work on Win 10. Not recognized and has technical problems.

Ok, everyone knows a little overhead is required for flashdrive memory but the 16G did not yield even 12G! Thanks for the wasted 2 trips over to BestBuy to exchange for something else. Put in overhead memory so USEABLE MEMORY is what is advertised. Geez, getting as bad as healthcare!
