Good for a recovery disc backup

Usually USB 2.0 or 3.0 work just fine, just watch what you need for the speed - for backups (like this one) USB 2.0 is sufficient. Works well.

Nice inexpensive USB flash drive

I needed another drive to share some files with friends and use as temporary storage. File transfers are fast and reliable. The only snag is that the cover is hard to push back. This may wear in over time. Otherwise, a good value for the price.
