The things I like: - The price - The capacity - No software to deal with (some flash drives come with pre-formatted software that if you remove it makes it near impossible to use, unless you manage to reformat it somehow) - The physical size - It transfers files very quickly Things I dislike: - The back and forth cap can be a pain, at least for me - On older computers/operating systems it will not run as fast, but that's not a flaw of the drive Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who has medium size portable file needs, or anyone who doesn't really have a need to have portable files. You never know when it will come in handy.

I go this when it was on sale for about $20 so it was really inexpensive and it was 8GB. I really like how there is no cap to worry about losing and it is really small. But it is kind of "fat", when you put it into a USB slot with two of them, you can only have this drive in only because it covers the other one. It is a plug and use, no set up needed, or fancy program. It is also like 7.9 GB too not like other I have had that say 8GB but when you plug it in it is something like 6GB. So you get what you pay for.

Bought this due to the fact my $5 certificate was about to expire and needed another memory stick anyway. I usually don't go against reviews when there are this many bad one's, but figured the people complaining either didn't know what they were talking about or purposely were trying to break this thing! First off, don't know what these other people are complaining about on the slider for opening and closing the device. Works perfectly and VERY easily. Secondly, don't know why anyone would want to put this on a key chain anyway?! The hole is so small, which I guess could be a complaint itself, of course it's going to break trying ram something through that small hole. Anyway, for anyone thinking of getting one these, ignore those bad reviews and grab this device. Works EXACTLY like it should and not a bad deal for $20, unless you find something else on sale, which usually isn't hard to do.

I used it to save files from a class I was taking. It worked fine when I pushed the button to put it in the computer, but would not retract afterwards.

I purchased 2 of these for easy storage that is portable. ID each for a separate vehicle. Use for transferring music and SYNC System updates to the vehicle system. Music goes on vehicle Hard Drive and system updates are transferred as notified. So far has worded great.

I purchased this flash drive for a very great price. 8GB for $5. PNY has only had one product of dozens that did not satisfy for me. The capacity is great. The only knock is the ease of use. When you are trying to plug in the flash drive, it tries to retract back into itself (storage mode) and the pressure sometimes causes it to fail to fully slide into the USB port because of it.

The packaging said you could download a movie free with this purchase - that was a long process that failed in the middle of it all. It was not worth it to even try and get the movie after it stopped downloading twice. The drive is great - no trouble with it. My problem is I put these drives in my purse and the cover for the USB port does not cover the actual opening. So as this is bouding around my purse, stuff can get in it. This is not one meant for the purse I guess... so it stays in the desk drawer or in a pouch in the computer bag. Great size for the price - just figure out a different way to carry it.

We all have files we need to move or carry around. If you can get this 8 GB flash memory at the $10 Best Buy sold it to me for - you've got a winner. We've been using these things for years yet this is the best value I've ever gotten. Thank you Best Buy.

PNY flash drive worked as expected...perfect. Space is large enough to hold all the info for one of my classes. It doesn't take long to copy information to it.

This was a great way to transfer over 1200 photos taken on a recent trip to the others who were with me!! It was easy, highly portable, inexpensive, and quick!

Needed for the school supply list for the kids this year. Saw this in the Best Buy ad for an excellent price and it was more than needed. Works Great!
